Greetings everyone! This is a subject close to my heart. I am sure most of you have heard of Akashic Records. It was rediscovered by Linda Howe. Why I say rediscovered is because, the Akashic records were originated over five thousand years ago in Sanskrit.
Akasha in Sanskrit means space. These records are a “hidden library” that contains information about all the souls who are on their earthly journey. These records are held in space or the astral plane. It contains information about our past lives.
They can be accessed in a deep state of meditation. Now, why is it important to access Our past? The reason is, it is essential to realize and understand the life path we’re on right now. A look at yester lives will give us better grip on today and tomorrow. Thus the Akashic records need to be accessed when your intention is very strong.

No one should access past lives just out of curiosity. The science is too secretive, too beautiful and too sacred. Knowing certain things about your past life can bring instant healing in your life today. Likewise, seeing past lives through a casual attitude can bring about trauma in this life!!
What can you expect to find in this library?
The information you’ll find in your records will be your life purpose, emotional blocks and attitudes, relationship issues, career and basically anything you want to know about yourself. You can get rid of some very painful illusions you are suffering from. There are various ways of accessing past life memories or your Akashic records. The best way to do this are through self hypnosis, Reiki way or Linda Howe’s pathway prayer process. I am giving you an insight of how these three work, so you can take your pick!
1. The Self hypnosis way
You need to be in a very relaxed deep meditative state known as the Alpha state of consciousness. This is a semi sleep state. This can be done through some deep breathing and blanking out your mind. You will have to imagine a long marble staircase or even a long hallway. With almost twenty deep breadths and counting backwards from twenty to one, you should enter into an alpha state.

If you choose to see a hallway or a tunnel, you need to visualize that you are walking deep down into it. Keep breathing and counting backwards. Also use affirmations like ‘I am ready to see my past lives.” Or “My soul will now show me a past life to heal my present challenges.” Once you finish counting from twenty to one, let a memory come to you. It can be a person or a scene or a time or place you have some familiarity with.
Do not doubt, what you see for you are gradually getting deeper into a past life. Accept everything and believe that this will bring out some truly insightful information for you.
2. The Pathway prayer process
You need to read out the pathway prayer loudly to access the records. The Pathway Prayer Process is a simple method that anyone can use with intention to get information from spirit about themselves and others. Once you read the prayer, you will be walking down a hallway or a bridge that will lead you to a grand Victorian or ancient library. Once you reach the library there will be a librarian as well. I usually see a short man with a kind face whenever I have gone to the library.
Some people have told me they see an old lady with a sweet face as their librarian. The point is, there are some kind and compassionate souls who have been put in charge of the library and they will appear to you. You will have to ask for your akashic records book and it will be a hard bind book with yellowish pages. There may also be somegold lining on the book.
You need to open the book and you will see some moving images in the book. There may also be some date. Keep flipping through the pages. Some pages may be blank. Don’t get disheartened.
The pathway prayer process takes time and practice.

3. The Reiki Way
This is probably the easiest way to access the records. Do some deep breathing to calm your mind. Say a prayer to the Reiki guides, Ascended masters and Lords of the Akashic records to see your past life. Mention the reason you want to see. For instance you can say “What do I need to know about this situation in my present life that has connection with my past life/lives?”
Invoke the distance healing symbol and ask it to connect you to the particular past life memory you need to see. You may actually see nothing, or you may hear or feel something. Notice the ideas or thoughts that come to you. These will be messages from the Akashic realm to answer your question.
It is simple but not easy. Also, as you know Intention is everything!

We dont have a “path” so much but come each time to learn a process. If our soul needs to learn compassion then in that life that is a life lesson. If our soul feels it needs to learn about giving it will have that as a life lesson. Each is about learning and growing

I have done my level 3 in Reiki is it possible by doing reiki and finding out past birth

Paula, the Pathway Prayer is available in Linda Howe’s first book on the Akashic Records. No one should be able to access another’s records without their permission.
Hi, you cannot access the records without the other person’s consent. Mostly, people who want you to read the records for them and are ready for the wisdom to come in to their lives, will be sent to you. Healing happens when you read the records.
Once you understand the records, healing happens in that person’s life. To give you an example I had a certain quality in me that I wanted to change, and when I accessed the records, change almost immediately started happening in my life. Today it’s been 4 months already since I accessed that memory and I’m happy to tell you I no longer possess that trait
Many years ago I was in this library during a meditation. At that time I was unaware of what it meant and did not know that I shd ask . THe feeling of being within this hallowed library nd being sown rows and rows of ancient books is undescribable. Have not been there again . Is this a missed opportunity.Have had vision of ArcAngel Michael, of Hindu Gods..even tho I am catholic by birth.I am in awe of these experiences and have not told anyone except my Reike Master who attuned me.
Hi, maybe you can start tuning back to this library. I feel most of us are capable of accessing the Akashic library, since we all have the same spiritual gifts…however for some it comes easier than others. You may be one of them!

Linda Howe did not rediscover the Akashic records! She studied with Mary Parker then developed her own method of accessing the records. Edgar Cayce did extensive work in the records. Wikipedia has an excellent article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akashic_records.

Good..I liked it…. I have done till 3rd level of Reiki… also past life therapy n hypnotism. But not able to do practice coz of my job… n sometimes I feel my Reiki isn’t working….How can I check?
If you were attund in person with a good Master/Teacher that was also taught in person. You will always have Reiki it never goes. It may not feel as strong if you arent using it. Remember to always do your daily treatments and practice every day. Work with it or not its always there it never goes.

In some ways yes you are right, you either have the gift of not its not really something you can teach. As there are many veils of the Akashic Records and seeing past lives is only one, some are psychic abilities, which again can only be what you have been given not taught. But isn’t a sin just some mis information.
Well apparently your not doing it right , I couldn’t read mine because just touching one book had me crying like a child and believe me I’ve never been a big believer of anything until the day I sent my boyfriend by meditation only and he knew I was spoken to him and he didn’t understand how.

Dear Karen …i am not judging…i am stating…its a false process…and really if u all agree with her…then do it and let me knw how successful it was…i am not against anybody…i love reiki like you guys are…but i have seen few Reiki experts are making imaginary stories and publishing them…even i knw some of them who are not attuned to Third degree and claiming themselves as Grand masters…..I feel sad and disgusted when these people own life are messed up even after some much of experience and degree then who can someone preach others….Plz stop messing with peoples mind and stop messing with Reiki… I have no hatred or anger for anyone but dnt make false and imaginary stories…….its ok if u all disagree with me. Not everyone can see their past lives, there are 26 veils of the Akashic Records and past lives are just one of them. So many people have a thought of “Oh, I feel a connection to Egypt so I must have been Cleopatra. But this is wrong you may have been in Egypt but maybe as builder or cook. I’ve been seeing past lives of my own and others for many years and its something that should be taken seriously and with love.

The memories informed me of profound emotional pain, and guilt which seemed to big for this life’s experience. Experiencing what I needed to experience helped me let go and heal a relationship in this life. Quite beautiful. Hi Ananya! I have a very strong connection, but because of lots of trauma, I think it all got a bit warped and therefore I don’t really try to go any further. To be honest, I’m too darn scared, because I see and feel and smell all kinds of spirits and stuff and sometimes it’s real scary. But I do access some kind of “world” very often. If I close my eyes, I don’t see black. Ever. As a matter of fact, I have to concentrate very hard to see black in front of me. When meditating, I just try to focus on an image, such as a light or the torus energy field around me or something like that. But if I don’t concentrate, images flow past me like thousands of photos. I see the craziest of images – sometimes it’s animations, drawings, etc and sometimes I see faces or just random images: a tree, a flower, a house, etc. But I often see images that I don’t even recognize! I see various images of plants and animals that I’ve never seen before – not even in movies or on the internet. Sometimes the images are upside down or very funny and it makes me laugh. Sometimes there is a scary image or two. Sometimes a solution to a problem pops up and sometimes I see beautiful images for a wallpaper design or a painting (I am an artist, among many other things….). My boyfriend believes that I access the Akashic records, but I’m not too sure…. Any tips and/or advice?
