Healing Vastu Defects with Reiki

Vastu Shastra as defined by wikipedia “is an ancient Vedic science of architecture and construction.”

This science instructs about how a structure is to be built, how the layout needs to be, etc. These principles can be applied to apartments as well.

Vastu principles have become very popular not only in India but also the US where houses are being built according to these principles. Old temples in India were built using this science and now there is a revival of the use of these principles.

Reiki can play an important role in energising and protecting us from Vastu defects, as it is not always possible to live or work in a place where Vastu Shastra has been used. It is also not practical to break down structures.

Vastu divides the area of a house / structure into 8 directions – North, Northwest, Northeast, East, West, South, Southwest, Southeast and the centre of the structure.

Each direction has a lord and planet assigned to it these are as follows:

Direction		Lord		Planet
North		Kuber		Mercury
Northeast		Shiva		Jupiter
Northwest		Hanuman		Moon
East		Indra		Sun
West		Varun		Saturn
South		Yama		Mars
Southeast		Agni		Venus
Southwest		Nairuttiya (only direction to be ruled by a demon)		Rahu (north node)
Centre		Brahma

Steps for the healing exercise:

1. Thank the Divine Spirit, Reiki, Archangels, one’s own spirit guides, teachers, etc, for their protection, assistance and guidance in the healing process.
2. Scan the directions always use a compass to get an exact direction. Do a separate scanning for the entire structure and each of the rooms. The directions for the entire structure will vary with those of a particular area for example a room.
3. Visualize a particular direction / area bathed in Reiki (divine) light.
4. Draw the Power, Distance and Mental / Emotional symbols (Master symbol if you have been attuned to it) and any other symbols you are guided to cleanse and energise the area with Reiki.
5. As the Reiki energy flows through the area, intend that all anger, stress and lower / unwanted energies are washed out. Also intend that all objects (furniture, electrical appliances, etc) present in the space that you are healing is also energized with Reiki and is protected. Then visualize the surrounding area bathed in the light and draw the Power symbol around. Do this for a minimum of 15 minutes.
6. Always Reiki the centre of the space and the ceiling and floor. Grounding is very important.

Finally, intend that the space and entire structure is shielded from all negative and unwanted energies.

Do this daily, in time the defects will be healed and you may not need to do a daily session, also you may not need to heal every area daily just the area with depleted or negative energy.

Please scan the areas as this will give you a sense of how the energy was before you started the session.

Important Note: Please use a compass, do not assume the directions.
