Is Forgiveness Divine?

Ho’oponopono mediation is an amazing Hawaiian healing technique for forgiveness introduced to my friend Vedant through an article by Ananya Sen. He had saved the article but somewhere he lost it in a bunch of misplaced files in his laptop. As we know, divine timing is crucial for manifestation. Certain things happen just when it is required the most. So did this technique!

His life was probably at its worst phase ever. Be it relationships, career or even for that matter self healing. Everything was stagnating. To even lift an arm felt tedious. He was exhausted to talk to someone, lost his cool almost all the time. Basically life was in a rut.

Back from work, the next day being an off, he went through old files and came across this article on Ho’oponopono. He read it thrice to grasp the concept – connecting to the Higher Self of any particular person with HSZSN, chanting till we feel lighter and better, and then sealing it with Cho Ku Rei.

As directed, he thought of all the people whom he wished to ask for forgiveness, or to forgive. In about 10 minutes he filled up both sides of an A4 sized paper and was shocked – “Do I have that many people to work it out with?” said Vedant. Time constraint made him choose five individuals specially those who had hurt him the most and weren’t in talking terms with.

The entire process took him around an hour. That night he had the best sleep ever. He woke up late refreshed and smiling. Compulsively, checked his mobile and of the five, two messaged – one read, “I am extremely sorry I have hurt you in ways even I can’t comprehend” and the other, “Been a long while. How are you?”

Over a period of time, life started improving. Reiki happened to him in ways he can’t imagine; met friends whom he now consider his soul family, who are ever ready to help with the slightest doubt/problem/issue he mentions.

He can never pin-point but Ho’oponopono or for that matter any forgiveness technique has changed his perspective about life in general, for divinity works in ways one cannot truly explain. Yes, forgiveness is divine.

Tip: Chant to yourself too. You must forgive yourself. Love yourself ☺

Post Script: Chant Ho’oponopono whenever you are tensed/nervous/scared be it before an interview or exams or presentations. (This tip comes from a friend whose healing and help in my life is immense)
