We are constantly bombarded with negative stories about what is going on in the world and it is scary. Sometimes the fear can become overwhelming. I recently found myself surrendering to the fear and let all the negativity weigh me down. As usual Reiki helped me, lighting the way back from a dark and scary place.
Here are my tips for using Reiki for fear
Make time for regular self-healing – I only have time for a bedtime Reiki session and often fall asleep halfway through but this is fine, Reiki goes where and when it is needed. Hold the intention that you are receiving healing energy while you sleep and go to sleep visualising the Reiki flowing into you.
Feel the loving protection of Reiki – Remember to use Reiki for protection every morning before you start the day and again every time you are faced with big crowds, negative news or anything else that triggers fear in you.
Repeat the Reiki principles – My main problem was that I was letting the worry and anger about everything I perceive to be wrong in the world overtake me. The principles help to regain perspective and control of my thoughts.
Send Reiki and positive intentions to any situation that causes you fear, worry and/or anger – We can often feel powerless in the face of huge situations that we have little or no control over, but we do have the power of Reiki, literally at our fingertips! Taking a moment to send Reiki through time and space using HZSN and visualising a good outcome not only helps the situation but also helps you to feel like you have taken positive action.
Remember that there is a web of lightworkers all over our planet, all channeling Reiki for the highest good, you are not alone. Reach out to other like minded people through Reiki Rays community or similar networks and support each other.
