Our connection to Universal energy is what nourishes and restores us and that’s why we function better when we heal. However, this connection also leads us to our Soul purpose where we can experience another aspect of vital force energy by unlocking our true soul level potential.
The Akashic Records are life changing when we understand it’s significance because it holds valuable information. It gives insight into your origination, who you are, how you’re made up energetically, your Soul gift as well as thoughts and intentions that are holding us back- providing a whole new source of information.
How can we access the Akashic Records?
From within. It is located above our seventh chakra connecting us to our Akashic Records.
Our Eighth Chakra
This chakra lies above our head (crown chakra) and is where we access more of the expanded Universe. It increases our spiritual awareness so we can begin to free ourselves from the karmic build up.
Held in this chakra is all karmic debris (accumulated lifetime after lifetime), which consists of self-limiting beliefs and old patterns. This where our connection to our higher self and beyond is embraced with awareness of who we are, our gifts and what our purpose is.

Can we access our own Records?
Yes! Personally, before beginning my professional training, I used a Prayer accompanied with the Usui Reiki distant symbol to obtain so much valuable information.
Accessing our Records is a good way to introduce Soul healing into our consciousnesses – no matter where we are on our journey – because it holds valuable information, in turn elevating our awareness and enhancing existing spiritual practices.
Accessing Our Full Potential
The Records are so valuable when understanding why we are experiencing certain situations in life, allowing us to look at both the root cause and how our karmic pattern is contributing to how life is playing out.
When we apply the Universal Law of Karma we are acknowledging it simply as the consequence of our own action.
This then becomes significant. We make choices every day and act on them and the consequences are evident to be seen (some not so obvious), but fact remains that there will always be an outcome. Although, sometimes we make choices that are not our own and these may be based on the assumption that we should do or others may disapprove etc.
Our Records show the start of a karmic pattern of choice, the actions with consequences, disclosing the effect this had on us whether in present or past life. Our pattern of choice will produce karma that is either in alignment or will push us out of alignment. In addition, our Soul will then guide us when we are ready to release and resolve to be aligned.
Can we tell if our karma is out of alignment, and if so what does it look like?
First of all, yes we can. It’s those life situations where we are doing the total opposite of what we want or desire. Being out of alignment can be a very unpleasant experience and sometimes we don’t even know it unless we take a step back!
It can range from feeling trapped, enduring something you don’t want to, feeling pressure to remain part of something, fearful to make a career change or a struggle to keep/make money. It also could be shown in the form of poor health, a yearning to be you, feeling blocked or even struggling on your spiritual path. You may already be self-healing constantly but still remain stuck, left feeling that you’re in a place where you’re unable to succeed.
It can be confusing especially when you feel spiritually connected. However, being out of alignment is gradually taking a step away from who we are at Soul level which is often an insidious and subtle misalignment that consequently plays out in our physical life.
Can we change our karmic pattern to become aligned?
Yes, we can because Reiki is our pathway to our soul, clearing what stands before us, so we can reach our full potential!
