Hi Friends. Today I am sharing a very easy way to shield yourself from negative people with Reiki.
Have you ever walked into a room and felt bad energy left behind from others? Have you ever been at a party and felt really bad energy coming from certain people being directed your way or known that there was someone negative there that you did not want to see? Do you have certain people around you at work or home that bring you down on a daily basis? Or maybe you have to go into a building where you always feel uncomfortable and get creped out in?
Allow Reiki to help with this. One of the great things about learning Reiki is that it can truly help in all areas of your life.
Here is the simple method that I use on myself and on others.
How to shield yourself from negative people:
1. Before you enter a room full of people encircle yourself in a white light. You can do this simply by saying “I encircle myself in the white light of God’s love and Divine protection.” You can adjust this sentence to match your own belief patterns just be sure to make it positive, white protecting energy that you are surrounding yourself with.
2. Visualize this light completely encircling you like a bubble.
3. State that you wish this protective bubble to stay with you for the rest of the day and that anything negative will be instantly repelled by you. Make the Cho Ku Rei symbol over yourself and then a Master symbol.
4. Next, if there is a specific person that you want to keep away from you encircle them in a white bubble of protection as well! This sounds strange but it actually floods them with positive energy and they will want to stay as far away from you as possible for unknown reasons.
5. Give thanks for the white light protection you are receiving with the help of Reiki.
Now get out there, experiment and see how this process works for you! It has never let me down and always protects you for the greatest good of all. This process can be done in any situation and I have even used it when coming across aggressive unleashed pets.

Hi i am a Reiki master i don’t like to go shopping where there a lot of people if i don’t use the symbol on myself i get really nervous when i use the symbol before i go shopping i feel so great! i am not getting nervous !!
I always get severe headach whenever i meet certain relatives besides taking reiki protection and angel shielding.please help.
Hi Nivedita, if you’ve heard of chakra balancing, should work on mooladhar (root) and ajna (third eye) chakra. You can give ReiKi to these 2 chakra particularly for a longer time.
Take up simple meditation, sit in a comfortable position and concentrate between your eyebrows without forcing yourself to imagine shapes or lights. Breath slowly and deeply. Watch any thoughts that may come and see them pass.
As protection, you can always wear a “panchmukhi rudraksh” and keep calling for ReiKi protection whenever you feel like. Even if you know that certain people do share negative energy, don’t give this thought your attention since this not only makes you uncomfortable meeting with them but also multiplies negative energy in that environment.
The problem usually is that we pray, ask for ReiKi or God’s help in fear, the truth is that all these devine energies work only with deep sense of love and intention which makes the body open to these energies.

Reiki is al knowing. Just do what you feel called to do. In some cases you may feel like you need the extra symbols and in other’s you may not. 🙂

Thank you for this great article. I had an early appointment this morning and didn’t do my usual morning self-reiki. Then I encountered a person whose vibration was so low it was almost gone. This would have helped but I did it just now and will do it again after I wash the energy off.

Nice article! My only question/concern is about putting precious Reiki symbols and the white light of Reiki onto others without their permission. Whereas I realize if they reject it, Reiki will never force itself on anyone, the question still begs an answer. I totally see surrounding myself with a bubble of white light for protection, however. Hi Maureen. In answer to your question when you offer Reiki you are first offering it to someone with their permission. If that is not possible you offer Reiki to their higher selves. Reiki is almost always accepted by ones higher self especially someone who is not of the highest vibration. Reiki, if not accepted, then goes out into the world for benefit of all. Namaste!

It is up to your loved one whether they want extra protection or not. You can try sending Reiki their way and hope that they will accept it. Putting white balls of light around people is always great. Be sure to do one around the particular negative person you wish for your loved way to keep away from as well! 🙂

I’ve sent Reiki once to people travelling in a bus in which I was also there; to keep away from their negative, malicious talks, unruly behaviour & shoutings. I applied all the three symbols taught to me in Reiki II. Immediately I felt the bus became calm; people were talking in low tone which I could not hear at all. It’s was my best calming experience. .

Thanks for the information,I learnt to cover myself with both the hands by blue light at throat chakra for protection from poison arrow and after sending reike to not closely related person.The reason is while sending reike ,our ego misguide us as if I cure the person,result is I am absorbing other’s karma.But as the reike philosophy is one directing universal energy to cure others.
I am very new to this and i do not know the symbols?

Give it a try after you have learned Reiki. You have to be attuned in order to use the symbols. Otherwise, they have no healing ability connected to them. There are classes available online and in person in just about every price range you can find. More expensive does NOT always mean better quality. Be sure to look around and trust your gut. 🙂
I have had all 3 levels but lately I have been out of sorts and my job there has been a problem. Tomorrow I will ask the white light for help and will have my crystals around my neck.

Since you have had all 3 levels of Reiki I’m sure you have learned about how your body goes through a cleanse after each attunement. Reiki is great in that it continually purifies you. You may be going through another cleanse where everything is balancing itself out for your highest good. This can happen at any time and often times will happen a few times a year. Hang in the there. In the end you should be much happier. Be sure to surround yourself in white light and go with the flow of events. Sending love and light your way!

What do you do when a relative keeps misunderstanding another relative and hence brings about negative energy to all concerned. How to change this or should I ask can anything be done about it. Both are very loving people. Unfortunately the 1st relative keeps thinking the other relative is finding fault with her and reacts accordingly. The other relative is most of the time clueless about it.
How to dispel all this and get a loving energy surrounding them and all concerned.

Look at this statement made by the Majority of persons who practice Reiki.
Reiki is Spiritual and Natural?
Does that mean that we are all born with it? However we are then told that we have to go through an initiation or Attunement to access what it can do.
You cannot have it both ways. You are Born with it or it is created and applied.
