Article by Deborah Lloyd, Reiki Master
A few months ago, I wrote an article on Reiki and the Law of Attraction. In this article, the Law of Manifestation will be explored. The two laws are different, but complementary to each other. Both are important in creating the lives we desire.
The Law of Attraction refers to our energetic vibrations, and how we attract people and situations with similar energies into our lives. It relates to our emotions.
The Law of Manifestation refers to the lives we create; it relates to our beliefs and thoughts. While energies emanate from our thoughts, our thoughts create the substance, or the reality, of our lives. We have always manifested the details of our lives, whether we were aware of it or not. But, by understanding and utilizing the Law of Manifestation, we become conscious creators. This awareness leads us to be intentional. We focus on our heart’s desires, as we realize we can dream what our lives can be, and we make it happen.
One of the lessons of Reiki practice is the realization of unlimited possibilities, and we can participate in this beautiful reality. Anything, and everything, is possible in our world. When practicing the Law of Manifestation, we become increasingly aware of how every thought and action is a step in achieving our dreams and our goals.
With Reiki treatments, whether given by another or self-treatment, emotional blocks dissipate. This is an important step in manifesting our dreams. Too often, past experiences can prevent us from living our dream lives. If a person was told by a parent he would never be able to succeed in the business world, and he continues to hold onto the belief, he will not succeed. The belief has morphed into an emotional block built on unworthiness. When the emotional block is removed, he can build energetic vibrations associated with worthiness and self-love. This will enable him to move forward with a new plan, manifesting a successful life.
Another benefit of Reiki is realizing our authentic selves, a major aspect of the Solar Plexus chakra. Many of us struggle with establishing our authenticity. Are we creating the lives based on expectations of our families/friends/communities? Or, did we choose a career for only security and/or financial reasons? Are we searching for happiness, but are unable to identify what makes us happy? What is our soul’s purpose? How do I want to live my life?
When we realize, and own, the concept we are the creators of our lives, the answers to the above questions may change! It may take some soul-searching and concrete planning. Here is a process that may help you:
- Ask for spiritual guidance and give Reiki to this process.
- Visualize your life dreams, using as many senses as possible.
- Bring this vision into concrete reality: use a vision board; write a full description, etc.
- “Visit” your vision board or your writings frequently; take steps to fulfill the dream.
- Connect with your emotions about this dream – feel happy, excited, encouraged.
A helpful reminder: Stay away from phrases such as “I want…” “I will try…” These create energies to postpone your dreams. Rather, use present terms, such as “I am a successful, caring nurse;” “I have a thriving Reiki practice;” “I am married to a loving, kind man.”
Give gratitude for the dream, as you are manifesting it. Give gratitude for the Law of Manifestation!

Really wonderful article..I am feeling so happy. Thank you.
Dear Mahadev,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate it very much.
Blessings,
Deborah
Not everything is manifested by our “doing” (no matter “what form”, emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, etc.!)… For instance, a child at age 10 losing their virginity to a predator! Did that child in “any form” manifest this event? No! From extensive research, predators of “all” forms and types, “specifically seek” the; innocent, naive and weak, precisely to gain at the other’s expense! There are numerous flaws to the “belief” (<Being in one moment, then leaving by accepting other's interpretations~!) of the "Law of Attraction" that needs serious adjustments, and/or complete eradication~! Blanketed statements saying, "You are responsible to whatever you attract in your life"; causes guilt, "not" healing!\ A post seen recently states, "Don't ask why this is happening to me, instead ask what am I learning from this experience?!"…\ Who I am now, isn't who I was taught to be! Instead, it's an evolution of eradicating that which isn't True Being! One of numerous favorite quotes, "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." Rumi…\ You are love, from the moment the Divine spark started the replication process, eventuating you now! Stop seeking and Be! Namaste…
hi El,
you have some point there but i think its because of past life karmas. even in that sense it is created by you from the past life.
thanks
sree
Thank you Sree for sharing! The karmic possibility stipulating that somehow this innocent pure being (which most children are!), “deserved this experience”… Still places blame on the child, rather than the selfish perpetrator! Possible conversation of perpetrator… “Well, you did this to me (in a past life), so I get to do this to you (this life)!” When does the cycle stop!? As Gandhi said, “An eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind!”… Namaste…
