Reiki Healing and Karma

Is it possible that a Reiki healer acquires the bad karma of the person whom he heals?

It is known that disease or dis + ease occurs in the body when there is an imbalance in the flow of vital force or energy due to some blockage or disruption in the flow of energy.

Reiki is the energy from the universe which is delivered to the healee by the healer which in turn helps to balance the flow of energy through the main energy centres called chakras.

With more and more new insights scientists are now learning that there is something more to the occurrence of disease. The mind and emotions also do play a significant role in the occurrence of the disease being termed as the psychosomatic or metaphysical causes of the disease and Reiki can address these issues at subtle levels of the body.

I came across few of my friends who had fear that with Reiki you take over other people’s karma. But my belief says NO to it as I have been experimenting with Reiki in patients with very painful conditions and Reiki always gave me very positive results.

It helped to relieve the pain and anxiety of the patient and the general condition improved significantly giving the strength to accept the present condition.

Now the question still remains:  Does a healer acquires the karma of a healee whom s /he heals?

My personal experience and take is … NO …

Again Reiki doesn’t interfere with your subtle energy system at any level either with the healer or the client. Rather, on the other hand, it first benefits the healer as this energy is flowing through the healer before it is delivered to the client thus benefiting the healer first.

So as long as you are honest and genuine with self … be fearless with Reiki keeping one thing in mind … that Reiki first will heal you …
