Reiki and Encoding the Law of Attraction

One of the powerful uses of Reiki energy is in smoothing out the rough edges of our daily life. Throughout life it is often the case that if you could just add a little “push” to certain events, it would ease some tension and perhaps help you in your daily life. A job interview, success in your business, increase in your Reiki clients – these are just a few examples where anxiety and uncertainty can often cloud consciousness, and where it would help to be able to influence events for a favorable outcome.

If you have read some of the popular books about the law of attraction, such as The Secret, that have come out in the past few years, then you already have some idea about the creative power of your consciousness. You may already be working with these concepts and integrating them into your life.

Now I want to show you a simple means of tapping into the Law of Attraction in a powerful and directed way, using symbols.

The universal Law of Attraction works because of the “treasure house of images” – the unconscious – that is within you. The unconscious mind communicates in symbolic language. A storehouse of every experience that has happened to you, along with the collective unconscious of all the life of earth (and possibly beyond!), you have access to the most powerful, fundamental living memory system. All of the knowledge of the ancients is here; all of the wisdom of the stars; all of the history of your ancestors, spirits, the earth itself, the divine – everything that has ever happened, every thought, every word, has its record stored in the unconscious.

In order to directly communicate with the unconscious and be able to hook information out, we must use techniques that speak in symbolic systems. One example is Tarot, an excellent means of establishing a rapport with the unconscious. Art and music is another avenue, be it through painting, drawing, dancing, singing. These techniques help to keep the bi-directional communication between the unconscious and conscious minds flowing, making it easier to “plant” seeds into the unconscious that will be nourished and grow into fruit – the fruit of our desires made manifest!

Along with these, Reiki is a direct link between the conscious and unconscious. In doing self-treatments or treatments on others, in performing Reiki meditation, energy walks and baths, we continuously exercise the connecting pathways between the conscious and unconscious states of being, resulting in clear communication between these aspects of ourselves and allowing the free manifestation of the Law of Attraction.

We have all heard of positive intent and affirmations, and how they can be used to direct the Law of Attraction to bring positive results into our life. What if there was a way to take these affirmations and directly plant them, as thought seeds, directly into the deep mind so that they would manifest quickly and directly? With Reiki, we have such a method!
The procedure is fairly simple. First, think of what it is that you desire, what you want to attract to yourself in order to make your daily life more empowered and less stress free. Maybe you want a new job? Or perhaps you are already looking and have an interview that you want to go well. Maybe you need enough money to pay a bill. Don’t limit yourself or be nervous about thinking big! Perhaps you want your mortgage to be fully paid for. Maybe you need a new car, and so on.

If you have some complex ideas, try to simplify it down into multiple single sentences. For example, if you have an important business meeting coming up, and want to ensure that you make a good impression, seal the deal, and are able to go on a vacation to Bali right after, split these up into individual discrete sentences, and work on each one individually.

Once you have your sentence, simplify it as much as you can. Also – and this is important – keep it in the present tense. Rather than saying “I want to lose weight”, formulate it as though it has already a reality: “I am my ideal weight.” Instead of “I want to be in a loving relationship”, “I am in a loving relationship” or even “My relationship is loving.” The possibilities are really quite limitless here.

Now, grab a piece of paper and write out your sentence. Here is where it gets interesting, and where you are going to structure your desire in symbolic language so that it goes directly into the unconscious, where it can find root and immediately start manifesting. Taking your pen or pencil, first cross out all the vowels in the sentence. Then, with what is remaining, cross out any letters that appear more than once, just leaving one of each letter:

Original intent:
MY REIKI BUSINESS IS THRIVING

Cross out the vowels
M RK BSNSS S THRVNG

Cross out repeating letters:
M RK BSN THVG

Now, take the remaining letters, in this case MRKBSNTHVG, and draw them all together into a figure. This is where your artistic abilities will start to come into play, which also helps to plant this intention into the unconscious while you are drawing your image. Play with it, make it look like something attractive to you, until you have a simple picture that is composed of the letters. If you happen to not be very artistic, like me, you may end up with a bunch of funny looking lines shaped together. This is fine! The important point is that you have worked it into something that is pleasing to your senses. Your sentence has now been re-worked into a symbolic representation of the encoded intent. You are now speaking in the language of the unconscious.

Finally, you need to empower the intent.

1. Sit for a Reiki meditation, or do this as part of your Reiki session, such as at the end after all the energy is flowing.
2. Holding your hands over your symbol, trace Dai Ko Myo and say the mantra three times. Visualize the powerful currents of Reiki energy flowing into your symbol.
3. Now trace Cho Ku Rei and say its mantra three times. Now the intent is sealed.
4. To launch it into the deep unconscious, trace Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen and say its mantra three times.
5. You can then complete the whole process by closing the flow of energy with Raku, which is sort of like putting the final stamp of approval on your energy envelope and sending it on direct delivery to the treasure house of images!

Using Reiki and the law of attraction, the possibilities become endless for empowering your life. Encoding desires this way will enable you to have better financial flexibility, good health, positive relationships, deep connections with your spirit guides, and much more.
