Jar of Happiness

This is a very wonderful technique that I have come across in my life, one that I personally use and love because of its simplicity and the impact that it has on our life.

This technique works on the principles of Gratitude; Gratitude is a state of being grateful and thankful for everything that we have in our lives. It is one of the most prominent states to be in to live a life filled with joy, happiness, and abundance. The power of Gratitude will change your life in ways you cannot imagine.

Steps:

It is a relatively simple and easy technique. All you need is a glass jar/container or anything transparent that you can put your moments of happiness in, like a box or something. It doesn’t necessarily have to be transparent, but the fact that you can look at the things you have put in, adds a whole new appeal to it.

1. Every night take a small sheet of paper and write down the things that you were grateful for that happened during the course of the day.
   Examples:
   You ate some really delicious food.
   You ran by a close friend of yours whom you haven’t met in a long time.
   You bought something that you wanted at a discounted price.
   It could be absolutely anything that made you feel happy and grateful.
   Write it on a colorful post it or a small piece of paper and put it in your ‘Happiness Jar’.
2.  Heal the jar everyday using all the Reiki Symbols with the intention to find and manifest more things to be grateful for in your life and that your happiness jar keeps filling up.
   People who are not attuned to Reiki can visualize ‘White light’ to do the healing.
3.  You can also add photos, charms and objects into your jar. Be creative: customise it in any way that appeals to you.

Eventually you will find drastic changes in your life as you will start to manifest more abundance and more things to be grateful for in your life. The fact that you can see the things that you are grateful for in your life adds to the magic, we are what we see after all.
