Uses of Reiki and How I Was Introduced to Reiki

When my younger son was six months old he was attacked by Ecoli bacteria and suffered from diarrhea for almost 2 years. During the two years I tried all the available sources of medicine like Homeopathy, Allopathy, Ayurveda, Mantra, and many more, but nothing worked. A fine day, I was asked by my boss Mr. Yeshwant Phatak, to learn Reiki and that was the first time I was introduced to the word Reiki. I gathered information from him about the healing mechanism of Reiki and was assured that my son will be cured of diarrhea within 21 days of Reiki healing. In the year 1996, I finished my First level Reiki and to my surprise, my son recovered from the ailment just within 11 days of initiation and healing and returned to a healthy state.

After 21 days of healing, I was attuned to Second level Reiki and began my healing journey. In the year 1998 was attuned to Masters and Grandmasters Level by my Reiki Masters Mr. Nanda Kishore Sharma and Mrs. Savitha Sharma and since then I have given over 2000 attunements at all levels of Reiki.

Few of my individual experiences with Reiki:

1. One of my nephews is hearing-impaired and mute by birth and very aggressive. I started healing him upon his parents’ request and within two years his aggression came down and he started understanding what others were trying to tell him and began interacting. He is now 23 years old and pursuing Multimedia.
2. Another nephew was detected with throat cancer when he was 15 years old. I started sending Reiki upon his mother’s request on a regular basis. He has completed 9 cycles of chemotherapy and is now completely cured of cancer. The boy is now 25 years old.

Apart from healing, I use Reiki in my day-to-day life and few of those experiences are shared below.

1. Whenever I’m stuck in traffic jam, I use Vel symbol and give Reiki to the traffic to release blocks and within few minutes the traffic is cleared.
2. I was at work one day and my boss was in a foul mood and began to take it out on everyone by yelling for no apparent reason. It was my turn to step into his office, I protected myself and my boss with Reiki energy and stepped into his office. To my surprise, the moment I entered, he calmed down and asked me few questions to which I responded. He was completely cool and asked me to leave. I waited outside his office to find out what happened to the person who went in after me. To my utter surprise, my boss bombarded him also. This clearly means that we can calm people who are agitated.
3. When I see an accident or an ambulance, I send Reiki.  I’m forever grateful to my boss Mr. Yeshwant Phatak who introduced me to this beautiful healing system and to all my masters who taught me Reiki.
