Today being Sunday 13th September 2015 I have taught a Reiki 2 course. This course and the participants today have saved my faith. The course today has restored my faith in Reiki, in beautiful and genuine people and in the human race.
There were five glorious ladies who came together for Reiki Level 2 from such different backgrounds and from different courses. 4 of the 5 ladies had completed Reiki Level 1 with me, though 3 different classes and didn’t know each other intimately, and the fifth lady came to me after completing level 1 with another teacher entirely.
AMAZING energy was the result. It was a phenomenal day – with laughs and tears, goosebumps and spiritual connections. It was brilliant to say the least. The ladies connected on such a deep level and it was beautiful to witness.
Each lady had their spirit guides and journey and the sharing, genuine love and caring was beautiful. For me as a teacher it’s always so lovely to witness. To watch the blossoming and the piecing together of the Reiki puzzle is just wonderful. I love it. I also enjoy the learning I receive from each and every student. I always receive something from everyone.
What I learned today is I must continue along this journey. I had planned that after today, and then the Reiki 1 course scheduled for Wednesday 16th September – I was going to finish teaching Reiki for good. The reason I was ready to give up, is due to the drama and pettiness that sometimes happens when a business is successful. In Australia we call it the tall poppy syndrome.
Without going into unnecessary details – my confidence was shattered and I was struggling to believe in good spiritual people, especially in the small city of Darwin where I live.
Today’s Reiki 2 course was full of absolutely gorgeous women, all spiritual and all with love, gratitude and genuine caring in their hearts. Seeing them blossom and grow before my eyes, and seeing how far they have come since level 1 – convinced me that Reiki is love. Right before me was love and smiling, happy and spiritual connections.
I give thanks to all the ladies in the photo with me (I’m in the white) because truly without this course, I would have given up my teaching and quite possibly closed my business. I was ready to throw it all in, and say “ok you win. All knockers and trolls – you win. I give up.” I was very, very close to walking away from it all.
Thank goodness Reiki knew better – and created the most divine energy and group of people coming together today for me to learn, “Tammy you MUST do this.” Things were said today that convinced me that I am here in Darwin for a purpose, and coming up against the situations I come against is for a reason. The challenges I face is for a reason. The people I teach, help and assist, is for a reason.
So I give a heartfelt thank you to Reiki and to the ladies from today’s class for saving me from giving it up forever. I thank Reiki and the ladies for saving me from falling victim to the trolls. So instead of a farewell article, you have one with renewed hope and inspiration.
I trust it inspires you to keep going in your journey.
With love, light and harmony.
