Struggling to Discover Your Life Purpose? Try This!

Mark Twain has rightly said, “The two important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Each of us asks a question from ourselves,” why I’m here”? What is my life purpose? In other words, we can say where I should put most of my energy so I feel contented? What is the most important task to be accomplished in this lifetime? Etc. However, you cannot discover your life purpose by sitting on couch, watching TV and enjoying chips. Your life purpose means you have something very important than anything else to be fulfilled before you leave this body and go back. Many people are confused about what to study for the career, many of them confused about choosing a right business, many making good money already but in spite of that are they familiar about their life purpose? Some people have everything in their life such as healthy family connections, money, good health, and everything else. Nevertheless, they feel emptiness in their hearts. Why so? What are they missing? What do their souls want them to do? Life is not only about having good money, kinships, fitness etc. It is more than one can conceptualize.

Everyone reincarnates on earth with a life purpose. Moreover, I believe, “If you are on earth, you are worth.” Yes, you are worth of everything and you are blessed with the capability to accomplish your task. This is what brings you on earth and makes you wear a human body as outfit for a certain period of time. Many people, even at the age of 40-50 don’t even know about their life purpose and misspending the opportunity they have got from Him. On the same time, there are many who make a number of efforts to know their life purpose but often get failed at the end. However, I would say it can be hard but not that hard if you keep on trying without losing hope. Now, the question is how to uncover your life purpose so you know what you have to do during this lifetime and how to prepare yourself for that. Because without life purpose the life is like sitting in a train but having no idea where the path leads. Let us discuss the ways that I embraced to find out my life purpose. I hope that will help you for sure if you try with full dedication and put your heart and soul in your endeavors.

Ask Your Inner-Self: Whether you believe it or not, but your inner self is your true self. It is your best friend forever. It will be always there for you even if you feel alone or lonely at times. Therefore, asking your inner-self about your life purpose is the best thing you can do. Pamper your inner-self like a child and and ask how you should use most of your time to accomplish the goals that you have set in before reincarnating on earth.

Stop Looking for Something Particular to Be Done: Yes, do not keep searching something particular to be done in this lifetime. Be like a rubber band and adjust yourself everywhere you can. Who knows these small acts are meant to lead you to your life purpose. Another thing is that if you keep searching for something particular, you will always miss something. So open your heart for everything comes on your way. If I tell you my story- I’m a married woman living with in-laws, doing a job, try to find time for Reiki while I’m travelling in bus or before sleep, reading cards when I get time, writing to satisfy my soul urge, reading books with quest, painting and cooking. Now, these things are not my life purpose at all. Some of these are my responsibilities that I have to perform no matter what, and some of these are the qualities of the soul that I learned over the past births and now they have become the passion in this lifetime. But my life purpose is still different from all that.

Your Inner-Calling + Thoughts Turning into Actions = Finding Your Life Purpose: Always remember one thing that you are here on earth plane to pay off all the karma debt and fasten your growth. Life is not a bed of roses for anyone. You get hurt and bear pain only because of the bad karma in past lives. Also, don’t forget it was your own choice to come to pay it off. So, when you know ups and downs are part parcel of your life then why don’t you embrace it with a smile and try to find out your interests and turn your interesting thoughts into actions? Turn your interests into passion because passionate life is always purposeful life.

Breathing Exercises: Breathing exercises calm you down and relax your mind, soul and body. In addition, when you have to bring something out from your inner being, the most important thing is the relaxed mind. You are able to hear your higher self only when your mind is silent. So try to reach no thought state for few minutes so your subconscious finds time to talk to you.

Question Yourself: Sit aside, meditate for couple of minutes and ask yourself few questions such as:
What is my soul urge?
What I like doing the most?
What I am ready to do even if I’m not paid?
What drags me in even if I stop doing that?
What makes you proud of myself?
How do you think you are different from others?
What you really want to do when you are doing what you have to?
If you have couple of days to spend you own way, how would you spend your time?
What makes you feel very energetic and calm even if you are tired?

Ask all these questions from yourself and evaluate yourself. You may get some hint or guidance.

Affirm: Affirmations work wonders because they work on our subconscious mind. When you affirm something, you are saying that thing to yourself which in turn affects your whole personality. For instance, if you affirm, “I’m beautiful.” You will start having beautiful feelings. You will find yourself beautiful not only from outside but from inside as well. You will notice a shine in your eyes and a glow on face. That is the glow of the positivity you poured in your soul while affirming you are beautiful. So from now start affirming, “I’m moving towards my life-purpose.” You will find guidance for sure.

Ask Angels for Clearer Vision: As we are all known to the reality that angels surround us the whole time. Therefore, if we know that, they are always there for us, then why don’t we ask for their help for our life purpose too? Actually, our angels are constantly working to lead us on the path to our purpose, but sometimes we don’t understand their signs and symbols. Therefore, we can do one thing. Simply request them,” Oh my angels and guides, I do not understand your signs, please give me a clearer vision. Thanks for all your help!” This will help you for sure.

Be Patient: I discovered my life purpose within half an hour of meditation when my spirit guide had a conversation with me and whispered my life purpose in my ear. Although I had been searching for my purpose for almost 2 years. So be patient because everything happens at a right moment. Perhaps, our vibrational level is not strong enough or our physical mind is not ready yet to accept this. Everything takes time and happens at the very right moment. So rest assured that your efforts would not go in vain.

Al in all, I’d say that we are all living on this planet for a specific period of time. So set yourself free and never stop yourself from doing what make you feel really calm and peaceful at heart. No doubt, you are tied in relationships and carrying a baggage of emotions all the time, but don’t get too attached to the worldly things that you forget the real purpose of reincarnating on this earth. I love Rich Sherman’s words- “The biggest threat to our well-being is the absence of moral clarity and purpose.” So, find your purpose and eradicate this biggest threat to live a meaningful life because a purposeful life is meaningful life indeed!!
