…and Reiki found me

I just needed a friend
To speak out my mind
Who would not judge my thoughts
But was really hard to find

I was tired of being judged
Taught and preached
Somewhere then I felt
Saturation had reached

I had faith in myself
But just wanted to share
Simple thoughts and dreams
With someone who would care

Someone who wouldn’t say
Don’t dream at all
Or would not cut my wings
And let me fly so tall

Who would not remind me
Of the wrong things I did
Or would not treat me
Like a brainless kid

Then one day Reiki found me
Hiding in my shell
Assured me very much
All will be very well

My dreams will come true
Everything will be healed
My loved ones would be safe
As if guarded by a shield

Reiki then taught me
Everything has a time
What I loved dearly
Will always be mine

Four symbols loving
And guiding all the way
As if a child is sleeping
In a loving mothers bay

So when I have doubts
I talk to Reiki dear
And she replies to me
Darling hold no fear

My life changed forever
I am a happy soul
Freed from the false notions
Healed, pure and whole
So Reiki found me
When I was almost about to fall
And taught me to say, all that happens
Is for the highest good of all
