Rather, it is a humble way to share the beautiful benefits offered by your business.
There is simply no escaping the fact that your reputation precedes you. This is something that people will research before they make that first phone call to become your client. Because of this, you want to make sure there is enough positive information about you and your services to help people decide that it will be safe and helpful for them to contact you.
Marketing the good reputation that you are able to achieve is one of the best ways to expand the exposure for your Reiki business. This type of marketing is second only to word of mouth marketing. For instance, if someone is searching for Reiki and finds information from someone else about how wonderful your services are, they will be much more likely to call, versus finding just a regular advertisement.
A powerful way to help manage and market your reputation is to ask your clients for testimonials. While these are great to add to your marketing materials such as brochures and your social media pages, it is more important to have a collection of glowing reviews placed at neutral third party websites, such as Yelp.com. These trusted websites offer additional proof that real people are taking advantage of your services and like them enough to talk about them. If you are just getting started, offering free Reiki sessions to those you know in exchange for testimonials is a great way to begin building your business.

Another way to build the type of reputation that will prompt potential new clients to contact you is to become an expert. This will allow you to enjoy the increased reputation, and respect, that is offered to those who are considered exceptionally knowledgeable in any given field. Surprisingly, all you need to do to become perceived as an expert is to offer valuable information to others.
Creating relevant content for your own website and social media pages is an excellent way to begin establishing yourself as an expert. Guest posting articles at other websites, offering workshops locally, and otherwise sharing your love and passion for Reiki will help others learn more about you. As you share, more potential clients will feel compelled to contact you because they will trust that you have the important information needed to offer the best services.
These are just a few ways to boost your image that are easy and affordable. As you apply these reputation management ideas you will begin to gain additional new clients in ways that would be impossible through traditional advertising venues. Remember to ask these new clients for testimonials in order to keep your reputation growing for many good years of business.
