Rock Salt has been used by mankind for more than 6000 years. In ancient times it was the only salt which was used, and was considered so precious that it was also used as currency. Though the nutritional benefit of salt consumption is known to mankind, not many are aware of its healing and cleansing properties.
Reiki has been known to mankind forever, it was the method which was used by our ascended masters to heal others. Though many are aware that Reiki can be used to cure health issues, very few are aware that Reiki can be helped for cleansing and healing different situations.
I have observed, though Reiki is beautiful on its own, I do believe it gets a boost when we use rock salt in combination and the results after that are spectacular.
A Reiki practitioner’s vibration is high and is hence prone to much more psychic attacks. Though there are many ways to shield one, not all practice them and hence can pick up a lot of lower vibrations from their surroundings which may reflect in their life through health or situations. As we have to interact with people from day to day life and our aura brushes with many others, we may clean it with Reiki but can be boosted if we take a salt water bath by putting some rock salt in a bucket of water and pour it on ourselves, we shall feel energized and refreshed immediately. When I moved into my new house, I did not hold any prayer meeting at my place; instead I just sprinkled rock salt at my place, and after 24 hours swept it out. The energy had become very light, as it felt a lot of stagnant energy got removed, and when I did Reiki cleansing, it just was an icing to the cake, and the house was full of positive energy and vibes, making us much more cheerful and problems were getting automatically solved!

I love to swab my house with Reiki water. I fill a bucket with water, and energize it with Reiki and then swab the house. My house energy becomes lighter and much more refreshed, but when I add a handful of rock salt to my Reiki water and then swab, the house is cleaner and the energy is lighter almost instant. Another great way of combining Reiki and rock salt is to use rock salt for preparation of food, and energizing it with Reiki and then consume it. The health benefit is known to all.
Use of Rock salt and Reiki are very ancient practices by mankind, and one can combine the two and have the best of both worlds ☺

Thank you for all your advice I enjoy reading n practice it too I took level 1 &2 reiki only.after taking up reiki I found a lot of things my brother in laws,sister in laws ,niece n nephew r doing negatif things to me and my family.i would appreciate if you could advice how I can protect my self n my family from this negativity permentaiiy.thanks again.

Thank you for this interesting article. I have dead sea salt, Himalyan salt and Epsom salt in the house. Would you say any of these could be as effective as the rock salt. Thank you.

Is there any way that a second level Reiki channel can treat Geriatric Cardiac Arrhythmia ? Put another way, can Reiki be used to counter Geriatric Cardiac Arrhythmia? Are there known instances of successful treatment of this problem using Reiki ?
Reiki can heal each and every disease 🙂
I was taught and rightly so, that we should never claim Reiki heals all dis ease. We could have law suits filed against us as we are not Doctors. Also some disease may be karma related, a lesson from the past that we contracted to accept for this lifetime. Some disease is environmental and all Reiki can do is ease and provide a sense of peace. Some disease is of the mind and if the client cannot focus intent to help themselves along with our intent to send healing energy only subtle healing may occur. Some disease may need many Reiki sessions and client self meditative sessions.
Some disease is self inflicted due to poor attitude about diet, exercise or consumption of unhealthy toxic substances. The client is responsible for their choices and we can offer to channel healing energy but it is still up to the client to make a free will choice to accept and help themselves change as their body is in the process of healing. I read your article above with interest because for several years now I have had 2 Himalayan
salt lamps burning continuously in my therapy room 24/7.These work with a very small 15watt
bulb in each which gives off just enough heat to turn the salt crystals into an airborne salt
condensation which is always in the room and breathed in by all who enter for treatments.
If anyone is interested I bought my Salt Lamps from a company called ‘Rockshop Wholesale’

Rock salt is unprocessed salt. The cheap white salt which we get in any grocery store
So if we buy the Himalayan salt lamp will that cleanse the house?

Reiki has not been “known to mankind for ever” as you write. It was developed by a Japanese person in the 1920’s. The idea of “healing hands” is however, as old as mankind. Even though your article is a good one be careful of over generalizing.

Dear Sunetra i am a reiki grandmaster & a Psychologist from Mumbai. I have found Rock salt & Reiki to be a great combination for cleansing. In Ancient india negative Auric energy used to be cleaned with rock salt, the parctice exists even today and i practice it on my children & family including our pet regularly.
Yes I use reiki and rock salt for daily baths. it releases the bad energies I purge myself daily feel so much better..
Well, just yesterday, I burned rock salt to remove a highly aggravating assault rom someone that I allowed in my home, OMGoodness, did it ever extinguish the negative energy! I mean, swoosh! Gone! Place salt in a bowl add alcohol, light, back away!
Whilst writing my first historical novel “Where Rowans Intertwine” I was guided by a novice druid priestess, who lived on the island of Anglesey 2000 years ago. She used Reiki, but of course did not call it that during her time as a priestess and healer there. I enjoyed being guided and tried to truly represent her life in the novel. Dr.Usui rediscovered it.
