Only this month I received a phone call from an extremely distressed woman. She was desperate for me to help her, although she wasn’t sure if it was a Tarot reading or a Reiki treatment that was required. I gently asked her what was happening in life. Her story made me extremely angry!! Ultimately it was Reiki that would help. Here is her story.
A few years ago “Sharon” was in a very vulnerable state and required direction, so she went for a tarot reading for guidance, and came away believing she was cursed! This ‘Tarot Reader’ filled my client with so much fear and terror, that for years she believed a curse was on her because she was told in GREAT detail that her young son would die at a certain age, and exactly how he would die. The Tarot Reader also told Sharon, that she was at risk of being murdered or at least an attempt would be made on her life. To add to this provocation of dread and trepidation, Sharon was told explicitly she was not allowed to tell anyone else about this curse or what was said during the reading. Sharon was also informed the curse could not be lifted and any attempt to do so would only make it stronger and more dangerous.

Yes, I understand that most people exposed to threats like this would get up and walk out (and I STRONGLY encourage you to do so IF you are ever exposed to fear in any form), however, please remember that ‘generally’ when someone comes to a tarot reader they have current issues, and unfortunately for Sharon, she was extremely vulnerable and extremely susceptible to the fear based on information provided.
Sharon has never told a soul, before me. This has been a daily trauma for her as she wakes up stressing about her child and her life. She goes to bed stressing about it. She has become a hermit and locked within her own home, because of fear of becoming hurt or killed. She is trapped within her life because she can’t talk to anyone. It’s built to a point that she could no longer function and so out of sheer desperation and nowhere else to turn. She phoned me. I thank ‘God’ she did.
On a beautiful Friday night, Sharon attended my Reiki Practice, and I could feel and sense her shock. Her energy was heavy and she had very little resistance to the ebbs and flows of life. It really felt like her life-force was completely depleted and I don’t know how she was functioning. It was seeping out from the holes, rips and tears in her auric field. All caused by continuous tension. For years she’s had no relief. Most of her waking moments are filled with the scenes painted by the supposed Tarot Reader, and even sleep (when it came) didn’t ease it because of the dreams. Sharon was in a total state of trauma and distress.
Sharon received a powerful Crystal Reiki treatment. She received the beautiful loving energy of Reiki and of course crystals that have healing properties of their own. She was given a double dose of love and light. I worked with the Reiki energy and although I can’t direct it, I intuitively feel it went to the auric tears and rips and sewed them together with beautiful coloured stiches. I know during the treatment I was surrounded by an ENORMOUS angelic presence and other spiritual guides. Sharon was encased and surrounded by many spiritual helpers. This treatment is one of, if not the most powerful one I have ever been blessed to participate in.
I wrapped her in a blanket of Reiki Energy and used so many of the Reiki Symbols, most importantly the Master symbol, as well as relevant Non-Traditional symbols such as the following:
I also did a lot of cord cutting. Cutting the strings and hooks and energy that kept Sharon ‘attached’ to that horrendous Tarot Reading experience and the information given to her. Plus I also sent Reiki Energy back through time and space to help heal the situation from the moment it occurred.
Considering Reiki can do no harm, I explained to Sharon that this treatment would not cause any ill effects and would only help and assist. It certainly wouldn’t make any supposed curse, stronger. I also passed along the fact this ‘Tarot’ Reader was not genuine and that Sharon was safe to release her fears. Sharon was safe to talk to her husband about the information or talk to anyone about the horrendous reading all those years ago. Sharon had been manipulated into keeping silent which is a tactic many abusers use. This is the information I received whilst conducting the Reiki Treatment: the tarot reader was not a genuine psychic and was intent on making money and controlling people through fear.
After the treatment, Sharon felt lighter although admitted she still had concerns and fear, although she felt much calmer, more relaxed, and more able to see things clearly. She’s embarrassed that this encounter has impacted her so greatly. I am aware that Sharon will need more than one treatment, however with all clients; I don’t push more appointments on them. I told Sharon to monitor how she feels and her body would tell her if she needs another treatment. Sharon is aware that she is more than welcome to come back at any time for another session, to help lift another layer of trauma off her shoulders.
I want to encourage anyone and everyone that if you are ever exposed to information such as what Sharon has been, to please get up, walk away, and don’t pay. Genuine and caring psychics will not provoke fear. If they can see something disturbing, there are ways to say it positively and without creating stress. If you have been exposed to something like this, then I encourage you to find a reputable Reiki Master to help you to overcome the ‘psychic attack’.

Trauma is part of a person’s life experience and can never be removed. It can be reframed, carried differently, understood, the pain can be released or transmuted. But the trauma cannot be removed. I find the title of this article very misleading. We cannot get rid of our experiences.

Hi,, glad you wrote this to expose a charlatan ,, this lady was told absolute nonsense , no way on earth would a pure reader give a reading like that, these people play on people’s fears,, and charge for it, they are disputable,,, but karma will catch up with them soon,,, so don’t worry everyone

Hi Tammy, years ago, I too came upon a young woman that had received a “bad reiki” attunement. This experience had caused her cold hands and the inability to practice reiki. Since, we were at a campground, I had her sit on a blanket, on the picnic bench, (away from distraction). I asked for help from the angelics, in that this woman would be getting pure, Reiki, with unconditional love. I lifted (with Reiki) years of trauma, from her previous bad experience. She said that the person that gave her the attunment, had been going through a horrendous divorce, and was filled with much anger in her situation. I told this woman that she never should have been touched by that Reiki practitioner, because I felt intuitively that she was an empath, and she took on that reiki practitioners anger. After the Reiki treatment, she stated feeling light, and love and that she could go forth and open her own practice! She said that she would never let anyone that was holding anger, to touch her ever again, A few months later, I received a letter from her, talking about how much better she felt, and thanking me for the Reiki treatment. She also went on to say that when she returned home that afternoon, her parents noticed a difference in her, as well as her dog, jumped into her arms, and was tail-wagging happy to see her. She said that before her treatment, her dog didn’t come near her. I felt very honored that I was able to participate in the Reiki healing session, for her. I thank Creator everyday, for the gift, of being able to help those with Reiki. It is a most amazing energy source, and also can be boosted with Crystal work. I just did a Reiki session on a woman who told me a similar story. Someone grabbed her arm on the street and said he was a psychic and could see that she was cursed… she told me after a Reiki session. This was the 2nd session and I certainly didn’t feel any negative energy around her, only loving, kind energy. Asked her if he said he could remove the curse if she paid him, and she said he had indeed said that. I told her not to believe it. I encouraged her to live in Trust and Love and not Fear.

I do tarot readings and would never give anyone a reading like this. As a matter of fact whenever any tarot reader claims to be able to predict a death run as fast as you can. I would say that person is not authentic and quite negative. Usually with such a horrendous reading comes the cure for $$$. Everyone should stay away from these type of readers. There are good readers out there who are authentic and word towards creating solutions not fear or problems.

Unfortunately this poor woman was place under a curse by the Tarot reader to manipulate her and probably extort money from her fortunately she final got the courage to seek help from a real healer
Dragon that is so true. The curse came from the terrible person who was giving her stuff horrible information. I could not believe a tarot reader would say such horrible stuff.

Hi Tammy, I had a very similar experience. I was also told not to say anything about it. Why do they to this? Is it to have some power over you? I never understood that, I am interested in, your take on this. I did break it off after I had spoke with her a few times, it was very disturbing and I felt it was not right what she was saying and there was a request for a very large sum of money. I broke it off immediately and never contacted her ever again. None the less, it was very damaging to me and took a very long time to heal. I am over it and doing very well. Hi Laura, i’m very sorry to read you’ve been through something similar. I can not answer as to ‘why’ people do this as I don’t understand their mindset or motivation. One can only assume in your case that money was a motivator considering you were asked for a large sum of money! i got palm reading 6-7 years befor that i will be alone after my marriage, & exaclty that is happened with me now. after 4 years of wait after love marriage i m getting divorce because of False allegations by my inlaws for which i don’t have any way to prove my innocense to my husband.. i got my 1st reiki attunment but after trying hard unable to complete 21 days practice to heal my chakras, now i am thinking of suicide all the time as i feel very lonely, my astrology report says that i will never be happy in life,that making me more insucure & depressed in life.. whenever i try to move on in life for better i get hard push for bad experineces. i want to become a counselour or healer so that i can help other but i m unable to do anything like that… What should i do?
Whenver i try to get help from anyone regarding this the Money or fees was so high that i can’t able to afford so i m just leaving my life with all that suffering my life is giving me… What should i do to change my life & how should i do?
Is that if i am unable to pay for anything to help me i don’t deserve to get help????

Hi Omsairam I am very sorry to hear of your heartbreak and suicidal thoughts. I am not sure what country you are in, however in Australia there are free counselling and phone services to help people who are so depressed they are talking of suicide. I would highly recommend you see a professional about your thoughts immediately – this could be your doctor or mental health specialist. As you are in such a deep black hole, much of what i can suggest for you reiki wise, I am doubtful you are ready to hear so please get help from your medical practitioner first. I’ve had a similar experience many years ago, but was grounded enough to overcome it. It’s sad that there are evil souls out there who seek only to frighten others with their darkness and negativity. Hi Louise, we are in control of our own lives and so no matter what any psychic, tarot, rune readers tells us, our free will dictates our path. So If you want an abundant life, go out and make it without taking any notice of what this woman/man says to you. I wouldn’t go back to them.
