Chi Ball can be literally translated to Energy ball. Chi Ball can be defined as a mass of positive energy which can be sent at a time to a person or a situation. Chi ball is a great way of not only sending healing to someone but can be also used for aura brushing, cord-cutting, shielding a person or even box healing! I personally recommend Chi Ball as not only it’s an easy method of sending healing; I also feel it works much faster than other forms of distance healing.
Chi Ball though not a part of traditional Reiki it works very well with it, people can make balls of a large amount of Reiki energy and send healing. There can be different variations of a Chi Ball, some may like to put the Reiki Symbols inside the ball before sending it, or some if they are clairvoyant might see the ball in different colours like white, pink or golden. Some even visualize the situation is healed inside the Chi Ball and then send it across. One can always use their own imagination to send a Chi Ball healing.

I will break the steps of making a chi ball for everyone’s benefit.
- Activate Reiki and draw the symbols on the palms of your hand (in case one is second degree and above).
- Keep your hands a feet apart facing each other and slowly start bringing them together.
- Once you start getting your hands together, your hands will automatically stop at a certain point and they will not come any closer further, this is when you will feel the energy between your hands.
- Start feeling the energy more by moving your hands in such a way that you are making a ball out of the energy.
- Keep stating your intention which you want to heal or improve and visualize it in the ball that it has already been resolved.
- After sometime when your intuition guides you that the ball is ready, just throw it in the air and thank Reiki.
Chi Ball can be made by Non-Reiki Practitioners too, they just have to say they want to send a lot of positive energy to some situation and follow the same steps as above except that they do not have to activate or thank Reiki!
I personally believe Chi Ball has been an under estimated form of healing in Reiki though it can work wonders for all. I hope everyone tries this method and gets results faster and quicker! ☺

I did this earlier today (a Couple of hours ago) instinctively before I read this article! I have read about moving your hands together and feeling the energy, but had not made a ball like this before. I threw it into the air between my partner and I wishing for peace and positivity. Yes, this is a great way to send energy. In helps increase the metabolism, strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and an awareness of your body. I use it when performing yoga as well.

I think you’re remiss by not explaining that you deplete your own precious Chi (Qi) by doing this and unless you know how to build a reservoir and replinish your Chi using a method such as Chi Kung (Qigong) you run the very high risk of making yourself sick, especially if you do it often. Chi Kung masters are usually the only ones who have learned to build the necessary reservoir to engage in the practice of sending their own life force energy (Chi), so I urge very real caution.
If u believe you have an endless supply of energy to give, and that energy is not a ‘thing’ but intelligent God/Spirit, it is my experience that the energy is unending. Remember: believe/trust first, then see the results second.
That’s the beauty of Reiki: you never deplete your own energy because you’re using the energy from the source of all energy (God, spirit, universe whatever you want to call it)!
Chi is not Reiki. You can use a Reiki ball, or send Reiki with your third eye, but using your own Chi to send to others, unless you have a strong reservoir, will deplete yours. Humans do not have an endless supply of Chi. Knowledge is power.
The article is literally about Reiki balls, which are commonly taught and used by Reiki masters, myself included. Chi is energy. When using Reiki, you will never be depleted of energy. I’m very knowledgeable on this subject. Thank you for your opinion, though. Many blessings.

Just want to ask you clarification on chi ball,i have done lev1 and know fussion symbol,which is working good with me.and use reiki for self healing and for family.i am very much satisfied with this.
we have a small reiki group where we chat and share about reiki and some times group healing also,
today in the group they decided that sending energy to universe as chiball,as they feel universe also like bank where we have to keep energy for our goodness.which i don’t agree ,i feel universal energy is infinite and unmeasurable.
since u have more knowledge in this,like to know your view.

I find chi ball always helpful. It is the most simple tool which gives early result. Multiple Chi ball is also a good derivative. Why i am not able to see its colour?
