Let’s look at ways that we increase our intuition by using our Reiki!
First, what is intuition? I think of intuition as almost a primal way of our body communicating with itself. Intuition is learning to listen to cues from your body, any feelings or sensations that you might be experiencing, and then to trust in them.
We so often turn to others to ask for their opinions and guidance, but we might not listen to our own inner voice. Trust your intuition to be your inner guide.
Have you had that experience when all of a sudden you just had this feeling that something was about to happen, and to your surprise, that intuition was eventually translated to reality?
When you feel strongly about something that’s called intuition.
It simply isn’t true that only some people can harness their intuitive powers. Anyone can learn to listen to and trust their inner voice. As Reiki practitioners, we have the extra gift of being able to practice listening and working with our intuition by using the Reiki energy to assist us.
A daily Reiki session on yourself is the best way to get in tune with your body on an energetic, physical, and emotional level. This is the key to establishing a foundation in which you can build your trust and believe in yourself and your intuitive abilities.
Why the need to develop intuition, you ask? Why not let your emotional and psychological state be as it is? First and foremost, intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are intuitive enough to understand them.
Intuition also makes you far more creative than ever. Intuition means releasing more creative ideas for any means of expression.
Lastly, intuition has a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but in delving deep into your soul to eradicate some negative energy buried in it. Intuition can stop us from bringing more negative energy on board. It can also help us know when it’s time to do an aura cleanse or Reiki session. It’s all about listening to yourself.
With that being said, are you ready to develop your intuition?
Here are some ways to unlock this gift using Reiki!
Meditation
Meditating means finding peace in yourself. If your mind and heart are cluttered with too much baggage and hurt, you wouldn’t be able to quiet down that part of you that could eventually initiate intuition.
Let’s practice using Reiki with your meditation. When you meditate, try to do a full-body scan. In your mind’s eye, slowly start from your head all the way to your toes. Stopping to check in with each body part and chakra. Assess how each part of you is feeling at that moment.
Now, start over again, at your head, and slowly send Reiki to each body part and chakra. When I say each part of your body, I mean even your upper eyelids, lower eyelids, the front and back of your chest, each finger individually,….stop and give Reiki to every part of you. Then reassess how your whole body feels and compare it to the body scan prior to the Reiki. Over time, try and establish a baseline for how your whole body feels when you are in a neutral setting. This can allow you to sense any pings, unusual sensations, or thoughts that might pop into your mind. Learn how to listen to your body and “hear” your intuition.
Listen
What does this mean? If you are on the brink of making a huge decision, let go of all the inhibitions and head to a quiet place where you could find out where letting go has brought you.
Sometimes you just have to listen to the voice within you, and that voice won’t come out unless you let go.
Use Reiki to help you get to a place of relaxation. Let your Reiki guide you into a place of open awareness and align yourself to your intuition. Ask for Reiki to create a welcoming environment to nourish your intuition and then trust in what you sense, feel, and think.
After letting go of the inhibitions and all those things that stop you from thinking and feeling clearly, never expect an answer right away. Give it a little time, then you’ll have your answer.
Believe in your first impressions
When you see someone for the first time and think that you have an immediate understanding of their core being, chances are that impression actually holds true. Most of the time, first impressions are brought by intuition.
This is where you really need to learn to believe in yourself and trust your intuition. I try to not second guess myself and I tell clients the same thing. There’s a reason you had that first impression. It came to you before you had time to stop and rationalize it away. It was your inner voice noticing cues and sending you a signal.
Reiki can again help you here with your first impressions. You can do a quick Reiki scan to sense how your energy is interacting with another. Or, send Reiki to yourself and see if you notice any areas that are overly sensitive. Let the Reiki energy help you to meet your intuition until you reach a level of comfort in listening to your first impressions.
Intuition is helpful because sometimes it leads you to something that cannot be achieved otherwise. Decisions are easier done if armed by this gift. Develop intuition now and reap benefits you could have never imagined. Reiki is such a wonderful tool for developing your inner communication.
