Reiki Chooses You

It is said that Reiki chooses you and I am one of the testimonies to it. It all began in 2003 when I was in my final year of Degree College and I got a severe backache, a day prior to my final exams. With 2 of my examination papers remaining, my parents were tensed as I had faced multiple hurdles all through my exams along with severe back pain.

My father was advised by his friend to allow his wife, to heal me and send me Reiki energies during my examination. Knowing only that Reiki works on energies, I just said an impromptu yes. But to my surprise, the remaining papers went without any hurdle and my backache also got healed.

Years passed and I forgot all about Reiki. In the year 2009, I was struggling with deviated nasal septum and severe acid reflux. I tried allopath, homeopathy, Ayurveda, all household stuff but couldn’t get them treated.

In the year 2014 my very good friend Mrs. Dipal Dand had sent me her visiting card about her healing through Reiki energies. Since none of the treatments was giving the desired results I decided to give Reiki a try once again. She started healing me and slowly and steadily I started seeing improvement in my condition. Not only did I see improvement in my health but also in my relationships, overall nature, finances, etc.

One year later, I suddenly got an urge to get attuned to Reiki, an urge so strong that at first, I was not able to figure out because I had never ever had even thought of getting attuned. But the urge kept on increasing and one fine day, I spoke to my healer about it to which she told me to that “REIKI HAS CHOSEN YOU” and that I should get attuned. I told her that I will only get attuned to the first level and that she needs to continue with my healing. I promptly searched on Google for a master teacher for Reiki and booked an appointment with Mr. Parameswaran Iyer in the second week of August not even waiting for another friend Ms. Ashwini Chube to reply me if she was ready to attune me.

When I first spoke to him over the phone, I was so mesmerized that I just wanted to go that very second for my attunement. I couldn’t hold myself as if Reiki energies were absorbing and engulfing me. The day of my attunement, I was experiencing extreme nervousness, restlessness, excitement, and anxiousness as if all the emotions had taken over me.

On the very first day of cleansing, I experienced a spectrum of light passing through my Root chakra to Crown chakra and outward. I was in trance for whole 5 mins and the peace and happiness that I felt can’t be expressed in words. That was the moment I felt this was the best thing that ever happened to me.

After a month of getting myself attuned to the first level, I was hell bent not to get attuned for level 2 but again suddenly I got the urge and within a nanosecond something in me made me pick up my mobile and book an appointment with Ms. Ashwini Chube for my level 2 attunement. I got my 2nd level attunement in September 2015.

In both cases, I felt that Reiki has chosen me rather than my conscious mind choosing Reiki. Thereafter my journey continued with healing, getting attuned to 3A, 3B and it is still ongoing now with me attuning others.

Indeed Reiki chooses us rather than we choosing Reiki. So in case any of you gets a calling, just go for it without thinking too much. Just go for it, it will only create miracles in your life and your life will only get better.
