This energy was channelled by Amy Bass, while sleeping a woman in bright white appeared in her dreams and approached her. She told her that women in the world were being oppressed and it was needed to connect with the moon energy. And gave her instructions to make this Reiki modality.
Women have been oppressed along many years without having in mind that we have sacred powers and that instinctively we are connected with the Moon energy.
The connection between the feminine physiology and the moon is very close, as the moon has monthly cycles as women have. Also, women have the most powerful creative power that it´s the capability to give birth.

In many native cultures, women refer to their monthly cycles as their moon. The moon makes us be a little lunatic, it has much influence in our gardens or houses too, because its cycle connects us with our space and place. When we need a shift, we often move things from one place to other, clean a wardrobe, or even change from house, city, and country. It connects us with the decoration, reparation, and cleanliness.
One of the qualities of the Moon Goodness manifests itself in women with “maternal instinct” and the “feminine wisdom”. They connect with the gifts of the Moon, women have a mystical reputation for not being exactly as they appear, as does the Moon which changes shape and size in relation to the night time horizon.
