The Archangel known as Gabriel exudes a powerful energy. Gabriel is known to embody the masculine as well as feminine aspects of energy.
Just saying the name ‘Gabriel’ draws the energy of Gabriel to us.
The energy of Gabriel supports the following
1. Conception of a baby
2. Pregnancy and childbirth
3. Child adoption
4. Early childhood care
5. Parenting
6. Writing, oration
7. Balance of masculine and feminine energy in one self
8. Professionals such as teachers, doctors, nurses, etc who work with children
On the healing path, we have the blessed opportunity to invite the beings of the angelic realm to be part of our Reiki practice. The Angels and Archangels can offer immense support as we work on healing ourselves. If you need assistance with regards to any of the points listed above, you can invite Archangel Gabriel to work with you and to help you.
The following meditation will help you get started connecting with Gabriel.
- Light a candle in your healing space.
- Burn some incense to help purify the space. Play soothing music if you like.
- Sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Allow yourself to drift into a meditative state.

- If you are attuned to the Reiki Master symbol, draw or visualise it over your crown. If you are a level 2 practitioner, draw or visualise the level 2 symbols over your crown. If you are a level 1 practitioner, just visualise a light ball of Reiki over your crown.
- Intend that the symbol (or symbols) multiples. See the symbol multiplying and flooding your space with its powerful vibration.
- Feel the divine energy over your crown encircling you and also flowing into the space around you, filling it up with love and light. Notice the higher vibration in the room and enjoy it.
- In this pure space, call upon Archangel Gabriel. Call upon her mentally or aloud. You may say something like this, “My Dearest Archangel Gabriel, I call upon you now. I invite you to be part of my life.”
- Pause for a moment and allow the connection to happen. Trust your feelings and experience.
- If you are working on any of the points listed earlier in the article, bring your awareness to the issue/issues that you need help with. Say, “Gabriel, You can see the bigger picture of my life. Please help me with my intentions/work/issue in a way that is best for me and for everyone involved in this situation. Thank you for your healing and assistance.”
- Stay in the energy field for a couple of minutes. You may receive empowering messages or guidance from Gabriel. If you do, accept them with gratitude. If you do not receive any communication, do not worry. Gabriel’s energy will continue to stay with you and spring forth into your awareness at the perfect time. As long as you are open to receiving help, she will help you in exactly the way that you need it.
This meditation will help you take the first step in building a connection with Gabriel. Thereafter, her energy will stay with you and you can connect with her frequently just like you connect with Reiki. Gabriel’s energy lends us the strength to make progress in specific areas of our life’s purpose such as those listed above. Make the positive effort to connect with Gabriel and allow the strength of the divine to assist you. Stay blessed!

I made a painting of how I perceived Gabriel to look infused it with Reiki and framed it and hanged it in my son’s room. He believes fervently in her protection. I named it”Die blou vrou, Gabrielle”(Afrikaans) which means the blue lady, Gabrielle, as I did it in various shades of blue and white and framed her in old silver frame.

Thank you for this amazing article. I did exactly as you mentioned above and tried to connect with Archangel Gabriel. I folded my hands on my heartchakra and did the meditation to invoke the archangel. While meditating after the invocation i felt my hands being held up gradually and they reach my ajna chakra. I felt an amazing feeling of happiness. But i wanted to know about my hand movements. Can you please guide me.
