Health and happiness has become a trend everyone can stand behind, along with this is the growing detox trend. Detox diets last anywhere from three days to a month, and can require juicing or other methods of fasting. The next upcoming detox is called a Reiki detox. It not only improves the quality of your physical health but your mental health as well.
A Reiki detox is a cleansing cycle that rids the body and mind of all negativity. It can last 21 days or more, during which time the body’s seven chakras are balanced and in tune.
This particular detox cleanses your body from the inside and gives you a stronger physical presence. To aid the detox you can make changes to your diet, or go on a fast to detoxify your body from the inside out. It is also important to drink a lot of water for the 21 days of the Reiki detox. Two litres a day is recommended.
Results of a Reiki detox include the following:
- Strengthened immune system
- Repaired body tissue
- Removal of toxins and impurities
- Balance and health restoration
- Energy healing
- And it makes the mind susceptible positivity
Sometimes mild occurrences may happen, depending on the level of energy clogging or imbalances in the body. It’s important to keep in touch with your Reiki master during these 21 days, letting them know of any unusual mind or body occurrences.
After a Reiki cleansing, noticeable impacts on your body may not show, but it will link you with a life time of Reiki energy.
To maximize the benefit of your Reiki detox, spend more time in spiritual healing the body to get more emotionally, mentally and physically balanced. Many practices to carry forward this experience include supporting the detox with the following:
- Increase of water intake (2L a day)
- Light meals
- Yoga and other exercises
- Detox baths
- Naturopathic care
Ideal meals to consume after a Reiki session includes: brown rice and leafy green vegetables. Good food choices to support the 21 days of Reiki detox include: salads, dark green leafy vegetables, vegetable juices, fish, poultry, soya, tofu, cereals, eggs, beans and lentils, soups, olive oil and detoxifying spices like garlic and ginger.
Foods to avoid are: red meat, dairy (except yoghurt), alcohol, sugar (except honey), fried and spicy foods, fizzy drinks, and wheat.
Symptoms after a Reiki detox appear because of a faster rate of toxin elimination. Symptoms may vary depending on the level of toxins in each person’s body, and the body’s ability to heal. Conditions usually last no longer than 21 days and rarely turn into anything serious. Symptoms are only reactions to Reiki sessions which stimulate the immune system to start the healing process.
These symptoms may include the following: strong emotional release (fury, fear, worry, irritability or sadness), mood swings, skin reactions (itching, rashes), fever, cold or flu, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, restlessness, hypotension, or lack of sleep.
