Even though you can draw the Reiki symbols however you like, and they will still work, sometimes you just want to know how exactly to draw them “correctly”. Especially the complicated ones, such as the HSZSN :-).

Regarding this good article I’ve got a question !
I was taught to draw the HSZ and the SHK on a different wayfrom these symbols you brought here.
According to my master I must draw accordingly the way I’ve been tuned. And even when you take a look on the “Google” you can find many different ways of drawing Reiki symbols.
Is there any problem if I start drawing the symbols on a different way I’ve been tuned ?
Do they get stronger or weaker depending the way I draw them ?

It’s your intention that matters most. You will still get the correct energies even if you draw slightly different symbols. ie if your intention is to use HSZSN energy then that’s what will flow even if you draw the symbol in a slightly different way. Reiki follows intent.

The best any Reiki person can do is read from the works of Usui and not refer to google as there are many errors in what is on there about Reiki.
The different symbols are due to people learning Reiki then making things up. There are correct ways to draw all the symbols.
Totally agree, if you have been taught Reiki from a property trained Master you would have been taught how to draw and use the symbols correctly.

Thank you. This was really great. Your symbols are very close to what I was taught and what I teach.
So the symbols aren’t as secret as they used to be. Good! Usui Reiki should have never been secret to begin with anyway, IMHO.
And I have attuned a few people and have given them copies of these symbols at the first level because knowledge is power and should be open to everyone.
I love this site.
That is how I feel, the pay to play system that came with the clinic and established levels developed after the enlightenment of receiving the symbols, and freely healing. I trust the universal life energy to provide for those that need it when they need, since keeping knowledge secret was never the way of enlightenment, and I do understand and respect Usui’s earning ethically and working with what he loves, I see the initial treatment of those who are in need for no fee since they could not pay is the spiritual base which allowed Reiki to reach the west and do such good through this world… I also see Hyachi’s development of a literally laying on of hands as a profound step, but when healing energy it is that which inhabits the body and world, free of attachment to physical restraints and monetary systems.
Of course it makes sense to be paid for your work, but only if you can which made the scale important of salary by individual the exchange value. That scale needs to reflect those who can not pay monetarily. especially when working with the symbols you are paid by the strengthening of your own Ki.
To me the informations is far more important than the profitability, although in honesty, it would be excellent to gain material wealth from spiritual practices.
till now I have heard my reiki guru telling me that these reiki symbols should not be discussed with any one. It is a sin to do this. Reiki will punish. But when I searched in google its full of these reiki symbols. So I felt very happy today after reading that these symbols can be told to any one, I can make several copies and so on. Thankyou I know any good information must be shared. Knowledge increases on sharing.
If someone tells you that sharing something that is supposed to be healing is a sin and punishable, I’d be questioning either the teacher/guru or the system itself. I’ve had reiki practitioners tell me that their teacher many years ago just made up symbols and told the students never to share them. Learning in person is best but sharing information ensures the systems’ survival.

What is the methods to activate the symbols .
You must be attuned to them in person by a Reiki Master Teacher as you go up the degrees.

If you are taught in person by a very good Rekik Master/Teacher you dont need to be shown on a FB site how to draw them. And if you are doing an online course in Reiki find a good Master and learn in person, which is the way Master Usui taught.

Thank you for helping practitioners with Western Traditional Reiki Symbols.
