Reiki and Travel

I’ve been on holidays for the past few weeks (thus why I haven’t contributed any article for a number of weeks), travelling from Australia to Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand. It’s been the most magical and marvellous holiday for both my husband and I. What has made it more special and divine is that I blessed the holiday with Reiki. Yes, I used Reiki to ensure our time away was for our highest good… and it didn’t fail. Sadly it was at the same time, that two young British nationals were murdered in Thailand.

Whenever travel takes place, especially in foreign lands, where English may not be the first language, anything can happen through miscommunication and sometimes, violence such as the above is very possible. Reiki can assist in a great holiday is had by all.

So what do you do to ensure that things go as well as can be expected? Keep in mind, Reiki won’t necessarily stop bad things from occurring, but it will give you all that you need and require to get through circumstances in the best way possible.

What I did is the following. I brought in my invocation:

“To my dear angels above, in love and light, I asked to channel Reiki Healing Energy, for the total healing of mind, body and soul. I set my intention, that our travels to Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand are safe and harmonious. Thank you Angels. In love and light.”

Once I had called in my invocation, using a map of the world, I sent Reiki into the future to all the countries we were visiting by holding my hands over the country and beaming the Reiki into the map.

I sent Reiki to the planes we’d be travelling on. I sent Reiki to both myself and husband. I sent reiki around our house, through our house and cars (to keep them safe whilst we were away) and lastly I sent Reiki to our dogs, so that’d be safe and happy whilst we were away for three whole weeks.

So did the Reiki work? Yes I believe it did, even though our first plane from Darwin to Singapore was delayed by 12 hours for mechanical issues. I would much rather have the plane grounded and being repaired, than be flying and it malfunctions whilst in the skies.

It could have become very frustrating and annoying that we didn’t get away on time and our holiday didn’t commence as soon as we would have hoped… BUT I believe the reiki was assisting us from bigger disasters and it was also the Reiki that enabled us to cope with the delay in a calm and reasonable manner. We simply returned home for a number of hours, and then returned to the airport at the new departure time.

So even though I’d sent the Reiki into the future, at each airport and before each flight I would again send Reiki and use all four traditional symbols on and around the place. One can never overdose on Reiki. Each flight was comfortable. Each flight but the first one was on time. We had absolutely no issues at all, and I assure you we caught numerous flights during this holiday. In total we caught 7 flights.

In each country we experienced great customer service and had remarkably good time. The fact that Sri Lanka and Thailand are predominantly Buddhist countries, and we were visiting all the ancient monuments, cities and historical sites, probably worked hand in hand with the amazing energy of Reiki. These sites and the history are beyond words. The energy is profound there. At one of the ancient cities, where monks once roamed, I physically removed my shoes, so I could walk barefoot along the grass, before the ancient cities. Somehow I felt at ‘one’ doing this and allowed myself to soak in the heavenly energy. Reiki was so powerful in this environment. I felt truly blessed.

Overall our entire holiday was relatively problem free. One or two small glitches occurred and that’s OK because the Reiki sent into the future allowed us to deal with events calmly and rationally, including when Customs in Sri Lanka nearly confiscated my newly purchased 3kg Rose Quartz Crystal. Thank goodness I was allowed to keep it, as its gorgeous (photo below).

I think spirit had a hand in me keeping this beautiful birthday gift from my husband (I was lucky enough to spend my birthday in Sir Lanka). Thank goodness customs saw reason and allowed it though!

In short, Reiki energy can be sent to anywhere in the world and into the future, to ensure things run a little bit more smoothly than what might occur if you don’t send it. On our return home, our dogs were happy and healthy and our house was safe. It wasn’t broken into, nor the cars damaged in any way (and we live next door to a public park).

Only one minor hiccup with the house was some plumbing issues, which we discovered a few hours after returning home, that could have been much, much worse!! I rang a plumber who came within half an hour and fixed the issue. Imagine coming home to a flooded house? Wouldn’t that have been horrific!! Again I feel that Reiki worked its magic for us, and everything worked out to the highest good.

I hope you find this article interesting and that Reiki can be used for so much in life. It’s not necessarily restricted to only healing the body.
