We are all human and all need an extra bit of courage now and then. Have you ever had an important speech you’ve had to give, taught a class with a room full of students looking at you, or dealt with a stressful situation where you wanted to run away? Reiki is an awesome tool to help us get that little bit of courage we need to get through any situation.
There are two main methods to use Reiki for courage. I have had success with both and love each of them. Try both and pick the one that you feel works best for you. If you like both of them you don’t have to pick only one to use. They work together wonderfully.
Reiki for Courage Methods
- Reiki your Throat and Solar Plexus –
To do this method you simply do a self Reiki Session. Set the intention at the beginning of your session that Reiki gives you courage (name what you need the courage for) for the greatest good of all. For example, if I felt that I needed more courage for a job interview I would say, “I am happy and grateful that Reiki is helping to give me the courage I need for my upcoming interview for my greatest good.” Then, instead of doing a whole self-Reiki session just focus on 2 areas. Place your hands on your throat for the first 5 min and beam Reiki there. Next, place your hands on your solar plexus for 5 min and beam Reiki there. You are now done!

- Send Reiki to the entire situation you need courage in –
To do this picture the situation you’d like to have more courage in. Make an emotional and distance symbol over yourself and over the event in front of you. Pretend that it’s something you can see on a tv or computer screen just a few feet away from you if you are having trouble visualizing it. Next, state that you are happy and grateful that the Reiki energy is providing you courage for the job interview (state whatever situation you’d like courage for). Beam Reiki to the situation. While you are doing this picture the situation going wonderfully for yourself. Really allow yourself to feel amazing it feels to have a good experience with extra courage. End your session. You are done!
Reiki is such an amazing healing art. If the above steps are too complicated for you or don’t speak to you simply do a regular self-Reiki session and ask for courage there. Reiki is all knowing and can take care of business on its own. There truly are no limits. Give it a try and see if it helps you the next time you need a little extra burst of courage.
