The Power of Kiss

Kiss is one of the most basic and intent emotion by which we show our love and affection. We all longed for our grandparent’s kisses on cheeks or our dog’s sloppy wet kisses. In some countries people are being greeted by being kissed on the cheeks. A kiss says can talk a lot about you, some woman say by kissing their partners they know if they are going to get married to each other!

A kiss has a lot of power, as it is our very personal energy which we are happy to share with others. It gets our and others happy hormones working, hence releasing the negative energy/negativity out of our mind and body and help us to lead our life better. Hence there is nothing like “it was just a kiss!”.

So how does kiss help in Reiki? In Reiki we do not use our personal chi, it is the universal positive energy which gets channeled, that’s what makes Reiki so great, unique and does not leave us tired. Do we have to kiss our Reiki clients, if they come to us for healing??? Er….. No!!!

We do not have to kiss any person, but we can kiss our intention slips! I had tried an experiment few days back, where I was giving healing to a few clients. So I kissed 5 chits and left my lipstick mark on and gave Reiki to them, and the other 5 I just gave Reiki. As I healed the situation/people through intention slips every day, on 11th day all the 5 intentions on which I had left my kiss marks got manifested, and of the other 5 only 2!

I thought it was a luck by chance, hence thought of doing the experiment again, even this time I observed, the one with kiss mark manifested the faster than the others. It was then I realized that hug and kiss our 2 most powerful emotions or gestures which are experienced by mankind, it shows your care, love and respect for the other person.

When I shared this experience with others, few argued, you should be detached from the outcome, else it can pose problems. Caring for someone does not mean we get attached to the outcome, it means we just pray let the situation unravel itself for the person’s highest good, and that is what Reiki Is about! Our highest good!

Since it is not possible to hug my intention slips, I have started kissing them, my way of giving my love, respect and a bit of personal chi to each and every chit, so that they get manifested faster! Also I feel a bit of personal touch from the bottom of your heart always helps. As people who we are healing are just not clients, they are also someone with whom we have shared a lot of positive karma in our previous lives, and are just returning them the favour!
