Fear can really get the better of us. It will close our hearts and our minds, making it impossible for us to trust the Divine or have faith in our own hearts. Being stuck in fear will cause us to keep choosing something that we know doesn’t work simply because we are more afraid of taking a step in a new direction!
It is very vulnerable to step forward on a new path. It means opening your heart to the unknown and to possible hurt. Our systems may tingle with both excitement and bristle with warning at the thought of moving down a path we can’t see.
Yet we all must walk in a new direction at some point. Life takes turns. Some are unforeseen and some you wouldn’t miss for the world. Some you know are coming and you know they are necessary, but the change is so big you don’t know where to go next or what to do. One thing is certain. If we try to stay in the same place, doing the same thing, the same way our whole lives, we limit our growth. Life is change, whatever that means for you.
Most of my life, I have been a person who took big leaps of faith, trusting my intuition and the Divine. I went down paths, literal and figurative, that some around me thought were risky or out of bounds. When I was in tune with this inner guidance, I had good life experiences, although they were sometimes bumpy. I learned a lot of valuable life lessons and as long as I trusted my inner guidance, I felt pretty good about where I was in life and where I was going.
Somewhere along the way, I slowly began to lose my confidence. I placed more and more value in the potential perspectives of others than in the flow of the Divine Spirit that had guided me. I never realized that the more I did this, the more power I gave them and the less I had to decide for myself what was right for me. I have been seeking to get my courage back, though I had no idea where to start.
When I start my day each day, I ask Reiki to flow to the day ahead. I do this when I travel somewhere as well, even if it’s only to the store. I ask that Reiki flow to the car trip, all the cars on the road with me and to my destination. Essentially, I am always asking Reiki to flow ahead of me wherever it is I am about to go, for the greatest good. Ever since I began this practice, I have noticed that things go better when I do it. I feel better and things just seem to naturally fall into place more gracefully than when I neglect the practice.
I recently began to realize that Reiki was helping me to regain my confidence with taking my next steps forward on my life path. It seems like a natural progression that as I give myself Reiki every day and send Reiki ahead to all the situations I will be in, that Reiki would begin to ease my heart about taking the next steps in my life. I find that my old strength and courage is returning and I know that Reiki flows ahead of me on my path always.
I realized this at about the same time that I began working more with the archangels. After a long break from working with them, this was another area that I felt ready to return to. I feel Reiki guided me back. I now ask the angels and archangels to help guide me with peace in my heart every day, even when I don’t know the next step. Their help combined with the Divine energy of Reiki has opened my heart and given me the freedom to keep moving to the next step and the next.
There is no way to explain how this works. It’s not a step by step process. If you offer your heart and your path to be healed by the guidance of Reiki, it will open the way. Allow the Divine and the Angels to guide you and heal you and trust the inner guidance more than the old patterns and the fear that they may have established. You will likely find that your heart naturally begins to open more and you feel freer to allow this to happen. Keep using Reiki, trust and open yourself to the greatest and highest good.
