Case Study: Cheated Hearts

I use to be a diehard romantic. Growing up on a healthy diet of Bollywood and Hollywood romantic and action movies, I use to always think in the end there will always be a man and a woman who will be happily ever after and the spark will be there till the time they die, it was only much later in my early 20’s when I actually got hit by reality.

I use to see people around me where around 60% of the people were cheating on each other, be it married or unmarried couples, I was slowly losing faith in the whole institution of a monogamous relation, and was hence more scared to actually trust someone’s intention!

When I came into Reiki practice I had many people approaching me for healing, card reading and learning Reiki. Then one day came a man, let’s name him Peter who wanted to improve his relation with his girlfriend, as he suspected she was cheating on him. This case study is about him.

Case:

Peter was a successful doctor in his late 50s, who was married and had 2 beautiful children. His marriage was not a great marriage but a successful one. They were comfortable with each other, but never really connected. He said he was looking for his “ideal love” everywhere, and found this woman online, who he thought was the one for him and fell deeply in love the day he saw her photograph. He wooed her till she fell for his charms, and now they were in a relation for more than a year. Peter was very insecure about his relation, as this woman too was married and had many male friends. Hence he approached me to heal the condition.

Procedure:

I gave the relation one month distance healing using Soulmate Reiki Symbol and all the other Usui Reiki symbols, for him and his girlfriend to have a steadfast and a beautiful relationship.

Result:

After one week of healing, he called me to say that his girlfriend and he had a huge fight, as he caught her cheating with another man, who worked in her office. I told him, when healing goes on, blocks get removed and truth comes out in the open. Their relation started going south once the healing started. During this one month he went through a lot of emotional ups and downs as he painfully and slowly realized that he was subconsciously repeating his father’s behavior. His father had multiple extra marital affairs and that use to create a lot of ruckus at home. He slowly started getting distant from his girlfriend, and the love for his wife started getting reignited. He said he also started hugging his wife once he came back from work, which he had not done in last 30 years of his marriage. They use to talk more often, and connect much well. Though the romance is still a work in progress, and sometimes he still misses his girlfriend, he has developed the will power of not to call and message her, even when she bombards him with them. He and his wife have learnt to appreciate each other and acknowledge there are going to be differences in life.

As for me Reiki has installed the hope that monogamous relations can exist happily ☺
