Reiki and Oracle Card Readings

Reiki and Oracle Card Readings are poles apart as Reiki does not predict, but when I combined the two, the readings were really accurate. I am not embarrassed to say I am self learned card reader and never ever touched the guide book provided in the cards for interpretation.

When I received my first set of deck of cards (I have 12 varieties of card decks and all of them are gifts! ), it was “Messages from Angels” by Doreen Virtue. It was my first interaction with the Angels and its from there my Interaction with the angels started and I got into Angel Reiki, made my own version of Angel Therapy and also became an Angel Whisperer.

At first the cards were really confusing as all I was receiving was messages from the cards which sometime did not make any sense to me. I tried the angel method mentioned in the guide book but that too did not help me (no offence to the creator! It just did not work for me; the story is not same for everyone.)

Oracle card readings are intuitive based readings and a lot depends on the reader on how they interpret the messages written on the cards, and there is no better energy to give us intuitive based readings then Reiki, as its very similar to the messages that we sometimes receive while giving healing to a person or a situation. It was my eureka moment when I infused the cards with Reiki and after that there was no looking back. 18 months later I am as comfortable with the cards then I can ever be, hence I thought to share my method with everyone who are interested in doing Oracle card readings on their own in the future and also existing card readers where some of them might resonate with my “start up struggle” or learn a new technique to interpret the cards.

The steps are broken into parts for everyone’s benefit.

1. Hold your card deck in your non dominant hand and with your dominant hand lightly punch your cards. This is done as the cards are infused with the creator’s energy and also a lot of other energies, which may end up not giving accurate readings to one. After punching the cards draw the power symbol on each card, as power symbol instantly clears of the entire negative or the unwanted energies from the card and infuses it with Reiki energy which makes the cards give us more accurate answers.
2. Keep the cards on your Heart Chakra and pray to Reiki, Ascended Masters, Angels, Higher self or anyone you are comfortable with it to give you accurate answers to you. Also keeping the cards on your heart chakra infuses the cards with your own energy, and the cards give accurate readings, as the energy of cards and ours become very similar.
3. Each Card Deck consists of energy of the being on which the cards are based on. For example Archangel Michael Card deck has energy of Archangel Michael in them, or a Mermaid Card Deck will have energies of mermaids infused in them. Hence feel of each card deck and the energies are very different. While doing a card reading I always connect to Reiki or any archangel or my higher self or the beings the cards are based on with the help of distance healing symbol. This way I ensure that someone is present with me during my card readings and they give additional messages and correct interpretation through the cards.
4. If we program the cards they also bring about a lot of healing in us. I have noticed sometimes if I sleep with any one of the cards under my pillow I get clarity in some uncomfortable situation which helps me to deal with it better or sometimes some problem is solved overnight as if the problem never existed! One can program the cards for healing by keeping them between ones hand and drawing all the 3 Reiki symbols on it and giving it Reiki for 5 minutes stating the intention that the cards should start healing, and it works miraculously.

The cards are not only a tool for guidance in our life to help us tackle situation better but also they bring about healing as it cautions us about a lot of things before it happens.

One message that I would like to give to all the future Oracle Card Readers is that in a card deck there are no positive or negative cards, each one of them is quite realistic; they just show you the real situation in black and white.
