Feng Shui & Reiki for the Year of the Water Tiger

Articles

10 Apr 2022

I don’t remember when I met Feng Shui, I feel like it’s a term I’ve known forever. Since I was a child I was interested in it and read magazines and books about this energy technique without fully understanding how to implement it in my home and in my life. Until I was finally able to take a course with a wonderful teacher who accurately put all the information in order.

Feng Shui is an energy technique that uses the symbolism of objects, elements, and colors placed in a certain way to create an environment in which energy supports your goals. It can be implemented by placing objects with a specific intention, this is to do an ‘activation’.

  • For example, if I want to strengthen my Reiki practice (whether self-treatment or professional practice) I can place a sign with the word Reiki, the Reiki kanji, the diplomas of my courses in my spiritual sector (or success sector). This will generate positive energy for any goal you have set for yourself.

Feng Shui masters say that an activation can manifest between 9 hours and 9 weeks after the activation takes place. My first activation was very effective. I placed a bowl of stones with some gold charms (my personal element is metal and this is an activation specific to that element) in my success sector. In 9 hours I had an unexpected proposal that coincided with the goal I had set for myself. I attribute this speed to the fact that the stones I placed were attuned to Reiki. A perfect combination of Feng Shui and Reiki.

Feng Shui & Reiki for the Year of the Water Tiger

Regardless of what your personal element is, there needs to be a balance and presence of all the elements in your home. And one of the elements that cause very positive changes is water. In Feng Shui, a distinction is made between still water and moving water.

  • Still water is used to calm energy in very agitated sectors. Still water can be represented with a jar of water in which we place plants or also a jar of saltwater, which also produces an energetic cleaning (saltwater cure).
  • Moving water is used to bring energy to sectors that will give many benefits. A water fountain and a fish pond are examples of moving water. A painting representing moving water can also be used, but it would not be as effective as real moving water.

For those of us who use Reiki every moment of the day, it is not uncommon to give a touch of Reiki to our Feng Shui activations. In my water fountain, I placed some Reiki attuned crystals to give an extra energy boost to the activation. I also placed Reiki symbols on the saltwater cures to help transmute negative energy.

The optimal place to place a water fountain or fish pond in the year of the water tiger is in the southeast of the living room or office. This is the site that will bring the most benefits, but it can also be placed in the northwest or northeast of the living room or office. And don’t forget to place some Reiki attuned crystals on it. Periodically cleanse your fountain and reattune crystals to maintain powerful energy.

To prepare a saltwater cure you can use a glass container, fill it up to ¾ parts with coarse salt and some coins, a ring, or something metallic. Traditionally 6 metal coins are used, but any metal item can be used. Take care to place the jar on a plate or some container, because the salt will begin to crystallize even outside the jar and could ruin the surface you are resting it on. When you finish preparing it, you introduce the Reiki symbols to which you feel guided, it seems especially important to me to use HSZSN for the transmutation of energy and place it in its place. It should be in an open place, but it does not need to be visible, it can be inside a nice container or behind a picture frame. The important thing is that it is in a still place where it does not move. And be careful to keep it away from children and pets. In the year 2022, the cures of saltwater or still water should be placed in the center of the room and the southwest also could be in the west and the north.

Periodically check your saltwater cure, and when you see that many crystals have formed, you should dispose of it and prepare a new one.
