Choose a comfortable position. Allow your body to feel settled.
Take a few moments to breathe in and out. Allow your breath to fill your belly. Exhale. Inhale, and allow the air to fill your belly again and your chest. Now, let it all go. Continue breathing in and out. Take deep belly breaths and then let it all go.
Pause to allow for a few deep belly breaths………………………
I would like you to visualize a beautiful white orb of light. It is translucent, like a bubble. This beautiful orb of light gently encircles you. If you touch the light it feels smooth and soft, like silk. The only sound in the orb of light is a gentle humming that matches your breath, as you inhale and exhale. The light feels like a warm hug enveloping your whole self. You are bathed in warmth, softness, and lightness. Inside the light it is like being wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. You are comfortable and feel at peace. This light is peace. Peace brings calmness and clarity. Experience peace in and with your body.
Pause for a few moments………………………
Beginning at the top of your head visualize the light entering you. As it travels down your face, it brings peace, warmth and relaxation. Keep your eyes closed as the light passes over your eyelaids. Your lips feel as though they are floating. The light travels down your arms. They become weightless as the light gently courses through your muscles-bringing the warmth and peace. As the light caresses your chest and lungs; your breathing becomes even deeper. The light touches upon your belly and you feel like you are snuggling in the warmth of a blanket. As the light passes over your legs, they sink deeper into this restful peace.
Focus now on the peace that courses through your body. The orb of light brings you peace as it cares for you. There is a feeling of peace in and with your body. In moments of stress or times of chaos remember this beautiful white orb of light. Let it’s peace envelop you. Let the stress and chaos go. Seek the peace that you can find within. Allow this light to guide you. When you need a break from the pace of the day. The light shines on you. The light shines in you. The light brings the peace and calmness. This light belongs to you. The peace and calmness are a part of you.
Focus now on the lightness of your body, the way the light gently surrounds you and cares for you. You are safe. Take a few moments to enjoy this experience.

When you are ready, slowly bring your mind to your fingers and toes. Begin to wiggle them and bring sensation back to your limbs. Slowly allow yourself to become reacquainted with your surroundings. Open your eyes and return to the present.
