The Spinal Breathing (Sekizui Joka Ibuki-ho) Method

Joka = purification, cleanse
Ibuki = breathe
Ho = method

This method was introduced by Hiroshi Doi. In Japan, they say that the spinal is the register of our karma, as it records and stores negative actions from a person´s life, for that it can be unbalanced and it needs to be rebalanced to get the balance for the rest of the body.

This meditation will help you to remove accumulated impressions, energies that needs to be cleared and purified, and also these energies must be replaced by positive life force energy. Also, this method will fuel the cells of the body.

Meditation

• Sit in a chair or on the floor, be comfortable and have your spine upright. Try to find the best position to follow this meditation.
• Close your eyes and put your tongue to your pallet in order to settle your mind and centre your breath.
• Place your hand in Gassho position and silently say to yourself: “I am beginning the Sekizui Joka Ibuki-ho Meditation now.”
• Connect with the Reiki source and feel how fills your body.
• Visualize your backbone as a long pipe from the base of your spine to the top of your head. Imagine that at the base there is a purifying water pool. Imagine that water uplifting from your spine and clearing all your harmful actions.
• Breathe in and raise the purified water until the top and breathe out feeling how that water (which has removed all darkness and dirtiness) leaves from your coccyx.
• Do the process seven times.
• Once you feel is complete, give thanks and notice how you feel now.
