Saving Money – Creativity and Fun

What kind of thoughts, emotions, and images pop up in your mind when you hear word ‘savings’. A few years back when I asked this question to myself for the very first time, images of a locker full of cash popped up in my mind; emotions were, oh I never have enough savings, it is tough to save; thoughts were we need serious technical planning etc. Although I had realized long ago that this process need not be serious or pressurizing, one can be creative and have fun with it. I actually began putting theory into practice since last year.

Here are few methods I follow. These methods will shift the perspective and approach towards ‘savings’. This is the first small step towards your big saving goals. This will give you the necessary motivation and inspiration as well.

At the beginning of the year, I create 3 types of boxes.

Money Box number 1 – Gifts

This box is just like kids’ piggy bank. I put money received as a gift into this box. On top of that, I randomly put coins too whenever I feel like.

Money Box number 2 – Angel Money

This method was shared by my friend, Mrudul. While we were discussing about angel numbers she mentioned that she started noticing angel number sequences on currency notes and just for fun she started keeping those currency notes aside, she decided not to spend them. When she checked at the end of the year she was surprised because she could save a considerable amount of money, which otherwise would not have been possible. The entire process was fun, magical and joyful for her. I followed this method, whenever I receive currency notes displaying angel numbers I put it into this box.

Money Box number 3 – Money multiplier

This is a daily saving box. There is a huge scope to be creative with respect to how much money to put in daily. I am sharing 4 creative ways. You may come up with your own creative calculations or choose any one of the ways mentioned below.

1. Day of the year
   There are 365 days in the year. The daily amount that goes in this box is equal to the number of the day of a year. E.g. On day 1 put INR 1, on day two put INR 2, on day three put INR 3, on day 100 put INR 100…so on. By the end of the year you would have saved INR 66,795.
2. Your age
   The daily amount that goes into the box is equal to your current age. E.g. if you are 30, then every day put INR 30. At the end of the year, you would have saved INR 10,950.
3. Month multiplier
   Take the number of the month and multiply it with fix number. E.g. If you select number 500 then target for January month is to save INR 500 (1*500 = 500); target for February month is to save INR 1,000 (2*500); target for October month is to save INR 5,000 (10*500) and so on….. This way target for the entire year becomes INR 39,000. Now divide this amount by 365 to derive daily amount to be saved.
4. Current year
   The monthly target of saving is equal to the number of current year. E.g. in the year 2019, every month INR 2019 must be saved. This way yearly target becomes INR 24,228. Now divide this amount by 365 to derive daily amount to be saved.

At the end of the year, I invest these total savings in financial planning schemes or enroll for courses which in turn would help me to generate more income.

Now in order to play with the energy of money, you can follow any of these simple tools.

Reiki
Draw all symbols on money boxes. Once in a week invoke Reiki energy and request energy to flow to money boxes. Request Reiki energy to bring abundance into your life.

Access consciousness
Ask these simple questions to money boxes – What will it take for this saving money to grow 1000 times? What magic this money can create in my life?

Affirmations
Keep your hand on money boxes and affirm that “I have an abundant and constant supply of money. My savings are growing multifold. This money is attracting more money in my life.”

Angel Prayers
Place Goddess Laxmi statue or photo near money boxes and once in a week connect with Goddess Laxmi and chant Shreem mantra by placing your hands on money boxes.

All these techniques will help you to set powerful intentions of generating and receiving more money in life. As a result, you will start noticing a change in your approach towards money and savings.
