Are Your Crystals Cleansed?

How are you doing today? Today I shall share with you the right method to clean crystals. I can already sense some eyes rolling, but not cleansing crystals properly can have adverse effects or the crystals may not yield results up to the mark.

Now let’s answer some basic questions pertaining to crystals

Do all crystals need cleansing?
Yes yes yes. All crystals need cleansing. Some say that crystals like Black Tourmaline, Citrine, and many other crystals do not need cleansing. But all crystals need to be cleansed energetically.

Why does a crystal need cleansing?
When a crystal is excavated, a lot of earth and the area around crystals get hurt, hence the crystal may carry the excavation trauma, hence it is necessary to treat the crystal with lot of love and clean it energetically. Also not to forget the fact that crystals have a consciousness of their own and they exchange so many hands, the way they are handled and the condition in which they are stored, they all affect the energies of the crystals.

How do I ensure my crystal is clean?
You need to scan the energies of the crystals, just like how you perform Byosen Scan, alternately you can just hold the crystal in your hand and ask if it is cleansed? If you feel light then the crystal is cleansed, if you feel heavy the crystal is not clean.

Is there any foolproof method to clean crystals?
Yes, there is and that is what I am going to share with you all today.
Breaking down the steps for everyone’s benefit

1. Once you are gifted a crystal or you buy it, please bury it in moist mud for at least 2 weeks, if you have less time go for one week, or if you need it urgently even a day will do.
2. After you pull out the crystals, dip it in salt water for 30 minutes (except if it’s a delicate crystal, and can dissolve in water). 30 minutes in salt water will not change the composition of crystals.
3. If the crystal is delicate just wipe it with a moist cloth.
4. Sage your crystals or clean them using a sound bowl or just surround them with camphor.
5. Keep the crystal out for 2 days such that it will absorb the sunlight as well the moonlight making it energetic and powerful.
6. Activate the Reiki symbols or let just Reiki simply flow from you to the crystals, to cleanse any residual energy if present. Try to hold the crystal between your palms before sending it healing for cleansing
7. This step is optional, I do Ho’oponopono with the crystals.
8. Scan the energy and be amazed by how the energy of the crystal is light and yet powerful.

Isn’t this method cumbersome?
Yes, it is a bit and quite long, but it is worth it, as crystals can change your life dramatically.
