By Chance or By Choice!

For will in us is over ruled by fate.”

By chance or by choice, that is the question. Some events are pre-determined; they become by chance and yet the way we act in those events are our choice!

Let us break this down now to two words we all know and understand well.

Destiny and Free Will. Destiny is the choice our souls make before reincarnating. The relationships we choose, the challenges and the divine life plan all are part of our destiny.

Free Will is our option to take decisions. We often say we are going through a stroke of bad luck if we fail in a test, but we may not have studied for the test. This is using destiny as a scapegoat whereas the culprit has all along been our free will!

In my opinion, destiny is the big house I have to live in for the rest of my life because I have paid my rent in advance for the rest of my life! My free will can at the most allow me to choose my own bedroom! A soul chooses the parents they will have, this becomes his destiny. But once in the reincarnation he has the choice to make it work with his parents or not!

So every event especially our birth, marriage and death are pre-determined. How we arrive at these points in our lives is our free will. Of course it is not possible for us to remember this when we are already in the event. Here your intuition can play a large role in keeping you aligned with your destiny. Sometimes, we falsely interpret that something we desire is the right thing for us even though our inner voice is telling us otherwise! This is your free will which is acting naughty and refusing to listen to destiny!

At these times, to prevent you from going completely off track a major boom or setback can occur in your life! This setback will make you retrace your steps and again walk towards your destined path. We have often heard of phrases like “Every Cloud has a Silver Lining” or “Behind Rain there is Sunshine!” Well it’s true as every setback of our free will or wrong choice can bring us closer to our destiny.

Our guides, higher self, guardian angels and even Reiki can play a large role in this. Whenever we go off track, one of these energies or beings are there to hold us before we fall. They say Reiki exposes our life purpose. I couldn’t agree more! I have learnt not to waste my time after doing Reiki. I know almost exactly where to go and what to do! Which means my free will is aligned with my destiny. And yet some of my goals are not yet achieved!

This can happen to many of us. You may keep thinking you are doing the right thing, listening to your intuition and yet not able to manifest it even with Reiki.

Why does that happen? That’s because sometimes other people’s paths are intertwined with us. Here free will can be a little tricky to deal with. It may so happen you and another person are destined to do something together, but if their free will is not in sync with yours or their destiny, it is going to take time! So those of you who know of such plans that will take shape only when another person’s free will gets activated, send Reiki to their higher self to mellow their free will and make it happen!
