Excalibur Reiki

When we say the term “Excalibur” the first thing which comes to our mind is the legendary sword of King Arthur. For those who haven’t heard about King Arthur, he was a legendary British leader who, according to medieval histories led the defence of Britain against Saxon invaders in the late 5th and early 6th centuries AD. What makes King Arthur’s legend interesting is the presence of the wizard Merlin and Lady of the Lake, the ruler of Avalon.

Excalibur Reiki was introduced by Stephanie Brail and is a combination of Energies of Wizard Merlin and Lady of the Lake.

Merlin:

Merlin historically is known as a wizard, but was also a bard, advisor, tutor, prophet, sorcerer or a magician who knew the secrets of Alchemy and could turn metal into gold. He is sometimes depicted as a young boy with no father; He appeared as a young boy with no father. He appeared as an old, wise man, freely giving his wisdom to four successive british kings. He was dotting old fool, who couldn’t control his lust over beautiful women, who held him in fear and hatred. He had even appeared as a madman after bloody battle, and had fled into the forest and learned how to talk to the animals, where he became known as the Wild Man of the Woods. Merlin was the last of the druid, the Celtic shaman, priest of nature, and keeper of knowledge, particularly of the arcane secrets.

Some say that Merlin was a creation of Geoffrey of Monmouth, a Welsh Cleric who in his 12th century History of the Kings of Britain combined the Welsh traditions about a bard and prophet named Myrddin with the story that the ninth-century chronicler Nennius tells about Ambrosius (that he had no human father and that he predicted the defeat of the British by the Saxons). Though there is lot of theories about existence of Merlin, he is the elemental character in all Arthur stories.

Lady of the Lake:

Legend has it that she was the foster Mother of Sir Lancelot and raised him beneath the murky waters she lived. Merlin had met Lady of the Lake and fell so deeply for her that he agreed to teach her all his mystic powers. Though he knew she would use it against him as he could foresee the future he chose not to do anything about the situation. Lady of the Lake became so powerful that her magical skills outshone even her teacher and she imprisoned him in a dungeon. She was also partially successful in stepping into Merlin’s role at King Arthur’s side, but Merlin’s removal led to the great monarch’s downfall. The Lady of the Lake was eventually obliged to reclaim her sword when Arthur was fatally wounded at the Battle of Camlann and Excalibur was hurled back to misty waters. She was later one of the three Queens who escorted the King to Avalon.

Symbols of Excalibur Reiki:

Excalibur Reiki is a beautiful energy which has 2 symbols the first one being “Excalibur, the Sword of Truth” This symbol helps us in removing cords, veils of illusions, negative energy, psychic attacks, negative situation and people, entities and anything which does not serve us and protects us from all kinds of lower vibrations.

The second symbol is “The Holy Grail, Chalice of Enlightenment”. This symbol brings love, peace and clarity in our lives. It brings about spiritual enrichment and enlightenment to the recipient. One can imagine negative energy, problems, or issues being put into the cup, where they will be transmuted and released.

Working with Excalibur:

This is an excellent energy to bring insights about various situations we are confused about and also helps us in developing ESP’s (Extra Sensory Perceptions). Also what I find amazing with Excalibur Reiki is presence of “The Knights of the Round Table”. You can call upon them anytime for healing and protection, and they come immediately. One may not always see them but will definitely feel their presence!

Merlin helps in transforming by getting rid of certain unwanted things from your life by transforming it or simply replacing it! Just hand over your issues to Merlin and he will transform them for you which will be for the highest good!

The Lady of the Lake brings wisdom and healing. When one needs her special blessings in your life they need to simply ask! Troubled over an issue and don’t know which way to turn? Lady of the Lake shall help if approached! The best time to ask for help is right before one sleeps. We most of the time get our answers in our sleep!

My Experience with Excalibur Reiki:

I was introduced to Excalibur Reiki by my fellow Reiki Rays writer Vedant Borah, and I shall be always grateful to him for doing so! My life changed for better, many unwanted people and situations in my life came to an end! I connected with Merlin so well that I could feel his presence in my room and he use to be always present to protect me from everything that did not serve me. Merlin and Lady of the Lake helped me understand my true self to myself, and whenever I wished or placed my problems in front of them, they gave me such brilliant solutions and better options than I had ever imagined, it has been truly life changing!

I really hope people who are Reiki Masters (or at least level 2) if guided to work with Merlin or Excalibur Energy; it only makes life better ☺
