Question by Patricia:
Hi,
My name is Pat Cunningham.
My mother is in hospital, she’s had a superbug – that’s what they’re calling it – which is resistant to antibiotics. She is allergic to penicillin, she’s had intrauterine infections for almost a year now and has been on various antibiotics and sometimes the bugs change.
She’s 86 years old. Right now she’s in the hospital. She also has weakness in the legs and she has become incontinent, she’s been on many drugs, and I don’t have any idea what to do. I was wondering if someone could give me some advice.
Thank you.
Answer by Ashwita Vajandar:
Hello Pat,
It sounds like a very difficult situation to be going through.
Since you asked this question on Reiki Rays, I hope it means that you’re already practicing Reiki regularly. If not, it’s a great idea to start healing yourself every day now.
I don’t know if you’re allowed enough time with your mother to be able to heal her. If you are, it would be very beneficial for her to receive hands on healing every day, on all the seven chakras – front as well as back. If it is not possible for her to lie on her belly, you could heal the back chakras by placing your hands a few inches above the front chakras and requesting Reiki to heal the back chakras. It’s very important to heal the back chakras, especially the back heart, where you’re really healing the lungs – where the blood gets purified. This is the point that helps the most when fighting infections.
It doesn’t really matter how many antibiotics the bug can fight. Automatically, it has to be able to fight your immune system and infections happen only with a weak immune system. Luckily for us, the immune system is one area Reiki is very helpful with.
So give her a full body Reiki every day, also see if you can find a few other friends who can give her distant healing as an additional boost. Apart from this, Reiki her water and food and also give yourself some additional healing to help you cope with any pain the situation is causing you. The more you heal yourself, you will find that it also heals your mother.
I wish you good luck, and your mother a speedy recovery.
