Healing is Not Just for the Broken

With healing, we often approach things from the aspect of something being broken and needing to be repaired. Sometimes it is true that there is pain or illness that we hope to help bring balance to, but even with this, we must be careful to realize that bringing balance to a situation doesn’t always mean bringing a cure or that balance will look the way we expect it to. But aside from that, it can be very limiting to only see healing energy as useful when something or someone is “broken”, ill or in pain.

In reality, healing energy is very powerful loving energy. We are literally surrounded by it and it is inside us. We don’t need to wait until we are in great need to call upon it. We can ask for this energy to flow through us and open ourselves to receive it anytime. When we only see that healing can be accessed when there is a problem, we actually deny the fact that it is already available, all the time. It is sort of like denying ourselves food until we are starving when we can be nourished and healthy all the time.

This energy is the energy of Higher Love. We can feel this vibrating in our chest when we feel love and connection with something. I don’t mean the clinging sense of attachment we sometimes mistake for love, but the open and warm vibration that is common to all forms of love and connection. That feeling that requires nothing in return and simply is present.

That kind of love is very powerful. It blesses whatever it touches. It fills all things with light and lifts them to a greater sense of wholeness. Higher Love is the truest power. It is power that can only heal and lift to a higher vibration and greater balance and freedom. The power that comes from Higher Love cannot be abused and misused because the moment someone tries to do that, they are no longer in a state of Higher Love.

That’s why this healing energy we work with is so powerful and so healing. It is Love. It uplifts and brings balance. We can offer this to all that we come in contact with, letting it flow from our hearts as much as we think of it. We can strive to become Lights of Love. And we can offer ourselves this Love, as well.

We can expand our view of healing energy and healing itself. We can come to see it as Life Force. It is there to support us in all we do, not simply to restore us when we are hurt or sick, though it is wonderful for that! It can help us in our daily lives. It can remind us who we are. It can keep us healthy and help us along our paths as we go through life. We will still face challenges, as that is part of the adventure, but we will navigate them better when we use healing energy as part of our being instead of simply as a repair tool.
