Teaching a Reiki Master

Over the past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of teaching a beautiful soul, her Reiki Master. For the purposes of this article, I will call her Dana.

Dana has been ready for the Master level for quite some time, however unfortunately was not given the support and encouragement that one would expect, when a student is ready to expand their knowledge and enhance their reiki skills. As it happens, spirit was waiting for divine timing, as the connection with Dana and myself has been nothing short of miraculous.

The same can be said with the other beautiful souls who have completed their Mastership with me. I have connected with each and every one of them on a deep and extremely personal level. I love and adore all the masters who have completed their studies through me. ALL will have a life-time support from me should they require this. That is with all my students regardless of what level of reiki they achieve. Everyone will always have support.

With Dana, a few weeks into the course, we were sitting and discussing aspects of reiki when my mobile phone rang. Normally I would not answer such a call when delivering a course, however, another master was due to come in that day and I thought it may have been her updating me on her activities. It wasn’t it was a man, who sounded harassed and at wits end:

“Tammy I don’t know if you are able to help me or not, but I have a spirit in my house that I need to get rid of”.

How ironic. Dana and I were about, and I mean we were only a few pages out from this area in the Master Course, where we deal with spirits or heavy energy or incompatible energy (whatever one wishes to call it) with Reiki. I could not believe it.

With permission, I popped “Neil” on speaker and introduced him to Dana, explaining that it was wonderful he’d called now, because there were two of us that could help. He explained in more detail all that he was experiencing and in turn Dana and I gave him full support, suggestions and direction on helping with the use of sage, angels, god, Jesus, Mother Mary, and the like. He was thrilled we were able to help then and there and the relief in his voice was apparent. He advised he’d call me back if he needed further assistance. That was nearly a week ago and I have not heard back from him, so I can only assume the advice we gave helped.

Dana and I could not believe the physical and practical ‘introduction’ we’d received from spirit for this section of the Master course – needless to say when we reached it, Dana already had a great understanding and had demonstrated this with her advice and suggestions to “Neil”.

Divine timing and divine intervention are amazing. On Dana’s last day of the Reiki Master course, she was having trouble with her keys. She kept losing her keys and advised that keys, keys, keys were on her mind of late. They were always in her head. We had a laugh about that and got on with the day. Dana is a natural with all the course material because as I say, she has been ready for such a long time. It’s been a real pleasure to guide her, because I can’t really claim I’ve taught her much as she is already Intune and so very initiative.

What I thoroughly enjoyed is when Dana gave me the Master Reiki attunement. Wow. From the moment she touched my head and crown chakra area – I was swamped in gold light. It was beautiful and divine. I was so peaceful and relaxed. Then I saw before me, 5 doors. They were closed but very apparent. 5 doors bathed in golden light. It was a vision I’ll never forget for as long as I live.

We chatted about the doors for a while and didn’t come up with anything significant about them….. until lunch time. OHHH MY GOODNESS. We had a revelation that was so profound and so obvious and so very, very symbolic. Dana held the keys (thus why she was having so many issues and problems about keys, so she would remember them and mention it to me)… I saw the doors in my attunement from Dana as part of her learning. I have the doors and Dana has the keys and the fact there are 5 doors and 5 Masters – all of us, together will work together to make a Reiki community that is so profound and so amazing and so loving. It’s a team effort and it’s coming together so beautifully and so naturally.

Is it any wonder Dana had to wait for her Reiki Master course? She needed the right person and I need the right students – who are equals. I never look at myself as being above anyone. We are all equal and together we can bring about the love and inclusions for all within the Reiki community. We have so many plans and ideas and on Wednesday 3rd December we are meeting for a Christmas lunch, where new ideas and thoughts will be shared, discussed and probably implemented.

I am so excited, thrilled and blessed that I work with the most amazing Reiki professionals where together love and extended to all of humanity.
