When our hearts are filled with sadness from the injustice in the world and the media is filled with horrifying images and evil energy… it can feel impossible to feel connected to light.
We feel drained, overwhelmed, defeated. Darkness is powerful. Our light feels dim.
But this is when the world needs your light the most. So, how do you stay there? How can you connect with light when darkness feels so powerful?
This is when it is crucial to remember that YOU are the light. And, Reiki is an amazing tool for reminding you of your light. Reiki can ground you in your light and allow you to be a source of faith that helps chase away the darkness.
Many people right now feel so heart broken and helpless. Step away from the media. Take a break from the news. Breathe and connect. Feel your light and bring it through you in all you do.
Remember that what you put your attention on is what grows. Find the strength, the unity, the courage and the love that is so present.
Don’t allow the darkness to win, not even for a minute.
When we can all come together in light, the darkness has no chance.
We are light workers, called to do this work. Wherever we are from, however we got here, we are here together. We share our stories of how we found Reiki… how it changed our lives… how we work with Reiki to help others… and now, at a time like this… we need to come together in light. It’s where our calling has led us.
Together, we can unite and allow that light to multiply.
I was recently listening to an amazing Audible book by Caroline Myss. She was talking about how when we light a candle, that one light has unlimited energy… it can light an infinite number of candles with that one flame. And, even after lighting an infinite number of candles from its own flame, the candle will not be drained or disrupted in any way. The candle is not giving away its power, it’s sharing its power.
Your light is your power and the world needs your light at this time. Share it freely and illuminate the darkness for those who need it.
Think of a sunflower, day after day, turning to face the sun. That sunflower has a “knowing”… no matter where the sun is, even on the darkest, stormiest day, the sunflower will turn and face the light and drink in the sun.
The life force energy of that flower will turn and face that light day after day after day. Until the life cycle of the flower has ended. Until it withers away. Its purpose is to face the sun.
Be the sunflower.
See the light. Find the light. Share the light.
