If I were to ask you what are your emotions today or how do you feel – chances are that your response will depend on your mood or the day that you had! If you had a great day, your emotions will be soaring sky high, however, a bad day may raise emotions like stress, anger, and frustration. You may also face similar emotions if things are not going as you planned and you may not get the desired result.
As humans, we all have the natural flight or fight or freeze response whenever we sense danger or disagreement. This response is built in us in the last 200 or maybe 2000 years ago, when our ancestors were approached by dangerous animals in the jungle. They had to either fight for survival or flee to save their lives. Similar emotions – Flight or Fight!
Nothing has changed today, except for the fact that the tigers or the dangerous animals may be your yelling boss or an enraged friend, or your family members.
Let’s say you had a disagreement in the middle of the week; chances are that you may carry this feeling throughout the week or longer. When you face that person again, these suppressed emotions may raise and cause more harm.
Whenever we suppress our emotions, they may erupt at another pace or with another person who may not be related to the situation. This may not only cause a strain on your relationship, but leave you feeling stressed all the time. There may also be some fear that may extend your negative feelings for a longer time.
Sei He Ki, the sacred symbol of Reiki practice, is a very important symbol that is used to release negative emotions like stress, anxiety, frustration, anger, or similar. The purpose is to connect with your mental state and heal it for the highest good. However, this will work wonders when your intent is to raise your consciousness for the greater good.
If you are attuned to Reiki second degree, you can use Sei He Ki as follows:
- Sit in a quiet place and thank your Reiki teachers and guides and all the gods, goddesses, angels, and archangels.
- I like to light up some aromatic candles or incense sticks for a pleasing environment.
- Be hydrated – drink a few sips of water.
- Take a few deep breaths – inhale and exhale 3 – 6 times.
- This breathing will allow you to be present in the moment and experience the changes.
- Once you are comfortable, draw the Sei He Ki symbol and imagine breathing it in or inhale.
- As you breathe out or exhale, let the Sei He Ki symbol out.
- When you have done this a couple of times, your body will identify the parts that have been affected, and healing will be initiated.
- Soon your mood will be uplifted and your emotions will change.
- After this session, you will experience lightness in your mind and a good feeling in your heart.
You can practice this as and when you want to uplift your emotions. Do share your experience with me and let me know what and how you felt after this session.
Also, once you find the lightness in your heart, don’t be too surprised to say hello to your enraged boss, friends, or family.
So, go ahead and Reclaim Your Emotions.
