Emotions have a great power inside us that we should be aware of, because they have the power to give us health or, conversely, take it away.
Humans are integral beings composed of physical body, mind, emotions and spirit. When one part is ill, it affects all the others. For example, if we are always concerned about everything, we end up affecting the stomach and spleen-pancreas; or it may happen that, as a result of hepatitis, we are in a bad mood at the slightest disappointment.
This case involves a 17 year-old-boy who suddenly found himself affected by a kind of psoriatic outbreak all over his body. As expected, he began treatment with one dermatologist after another. In the long run, he came to visit me in the conditions amply represented in the first two pictures. After filling out a questionnaire, we decided to start Reiki conventional treatment. This involves 4 consecutive sessions and later 4 more sessions, one every week. Adding to the Reiki treatment and because the initial situation presented (think about the situation on a teen boy with this condition throughout his body including the face), Rescue Remedy was recommended up to a time when the boy would be able to achieve a recommendation tailored to his real emotional condition, which would require at least one, two or more interviews.
Initial Condition
As all the people who practice Reiki know, it involves no diagnosis or prognosis. However, in the first session, there was a point that was clear: he came here because he was willing to be better, he should make the effort and I should simply help him as cane to lead his way.
As we expected, many things occurred during those first 4 sessions. Things were unlocked and those were reflected in the change of his attitude and posture.
After the first 8 sessions and with only a month and a day of treatment, he achieved what is shown in the second pair of pictures. As you can see the lesions disappeared leaving only the difference of pigmentation marks on the skin. The same degree of change was achieved in his attitude and he knew it when he said: “I’m in a better mood and I am not rude anymore. I really feel better.”
I acknowledge that I have seen many wonderful things through Reiki, but in this case, the change was in such a short time after a long time of suffering that it surprised me. The strength that he put in his recovery really made the difference.

I wanted to briefly show this case in these lines, since many times before giving routine meetings, we forget the power that we have and that everyone is playing their role in whatever they do.
Let God surprise us about what can be achieved when someone decides to heal and is helped with true love through Reiki, Bach Flowers or the therapy that is appropriate for him or her.
When we try to do something by heart, the universe conspires with us so that it becomes possible. Imagine where you can get when many people are together in a chain of Reiki to distance!
We still ride around this beautiful road and although not all are roses, plants are worth trying.

It is a miracle. I personally understand the trauma one has to go through when such Skin disease is diagnosed as few years ago Doctors wrongly diagnosed for this disease and you come to know, there isn’t any permanent cure in Medical Science except the Lotions (for the etching part).

All auto-immunity diseases are caused by intestinal issues so the main focus will be on clearing and balancing the solar, sacral and root chakras. Obviously all other chakras will need to be dealt with also and the self healing intention should be submitted into the brow chakra as the pineal gland controls the release of self healing proteins.
I is a good idea to lift the unwanted emotions from the sacral into the brow, altering them from begative to positive also, as the source energy for the self healing – like any feedback loop – the clients own emotions begin to trigger their own self healing. That will reduce the number of session that are required for any patients you have.
The purpose is to trigger their self healing without the need for constant sessions.
I am a self developed energy healer and not Reiki attuned. I have one symbol only as the importance is intention and not the symbol itself – a limitation of the Reiki system.

I too have psoriasis. I am learning reiki level1. Though I dont have any idea right now how to go about using it to heal myself.
My question is, if there is an emotional cause for this disease, what steps do we need to take? Do we need to make ourselves aware of what that emotion is, overcome it, or just be aware? Or will reiki cure it even if we do not know the emotional reason? Is the emotion linked to this life only or can it be from previous life?

Psoriasis its a inmune desease , the it’s a good oportunity to think what emotions from the past appears in the present to be solved. Generaly the root it’s a strong guilty feeling.

Great story Gustavo! Helping people heal is such a joy.
And I have a little story to add. While not as severe as your client my psoriasis had been on my legs for around 15 years. No treatment ever completely eradicated it. I had just become interested in energy healing and I was practising daily on myself – I had not been attuned at this stage and was focusing on connecting with the energy not on any specific healing – After around 10 days I went to apply my usual cream on my legs and was amazed to find my psoriasis almost completely healed. Fast forward several years and It has remained under control with only have a tiny patch on the back of one leg.
My complete and utter belief in Reiki’s wonderful healing ability has never wavered since then.

Dear Sir,
I think Reiki has the power to heal us as humans and cure any disease or disorder. I am a level 1 practitioner and have found Reiki extremely useful in keeping Psoriasis under control and occasionally making it disappear completely. Reiki keeps the stomach in good shape and keep the sleep deep. Do you know a case where Reiki has cured Vitiligo? I know cases where Reiki has cured cancer (a doctor was the patient).

As you say, Reiki is a powerful tool and can be used in all people, Reiki seeks the harmonization of the person. Diseases are initially energetic disorders. I do not know a particular case about vitiligo. But I do not treat diseases and I treat people. For this reason I believe that if the person balances, the illnesses stop or even disappear.

So true! If the person balances, diseases , whatever they may be, disappear! That seems to be what my studies tell me too! However, why do you say that diseases are “initially” energetic disorders? Are they not “always” so? If one is able to balance his energy , balance his chakras, at any stage, initial or later, one should be free of the disease.

According to Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, physical illness is the consequence of hundreds of notices of energy / emotional imbalances that we have chosen not to listen to.
Once the disease originates in the densest plane it is much more difficult to reverse than to balance the energy body. It is not impossible, it is more difficult and some therapists maintain that there is a point at which this damage becomes irreparable. Each person is a world, so generalizations are not good. I do not treat diseases, I receive sick people with a desire to heal.

I know that Reiki heals, but be aware that psoriasis disappears and then comes back on its own. not to be the wet rag here, but skin conditions like that often just..vanish on their own in spite of everything.

Thanks for your contribution! As you say in autoimmune diseases, symptomatology comes and goes. In my experience this is related to the emotional state of the person. At the moment I am working with a case of purple (low blood platelets) and we see week by week how the count varies according to how the person is emotionally.
The particular case reported in this article, continues well from more tan 8 years, but there was a very profound process of change in him as a person, this does not always happen.

I am a retired dermatologist. I am learning Reiki and Donna Eden Medicine. So I am a believer of energy medicine. What bothers me is that this patient is getting UVL treatment, hence the brown patches where he got tanned ( and not in the affected areas which is classical ) I wish you had mentioned that in the history. When did he start on UVL treatment and did he stop the treatment after he got started with the Reiki? Thanks.
