Enjoy this week’s cards revealed:
1. Compassion (Left)
Suffering is sometimes inevitable but once you find the inner strength to transcend it, you can enjoy one of its greatest gifts it brings: compassion. All spiritual traditions including Reiki are teaching compassion. Compassion is what makes our lives meaningful! As Dalai Lama said: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” Everyone has a story so choose to look at people with compassion and to listen instead of judging and criticizing. ‘Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.’ Accept people the way they are, realizing that they are all learning from life and slowly are turning into more and more conscious beings. Each path might be unique but the journey’s destination is the same so learn to cooperate with others. Feel your interconnectedness with all there is. Open yourself to others and allow to be emotionally vulnerable. Don’t feel mercy! Mercy disempowers others and makes them fall into a victim pattern. Just witness someone’s suffering and assist actively through that process. Your mind and body will heal while your heart will open and expand to new heights.
Also, don’t forget about self-compassion. All the above apply for yourself also. Self-compassion is the true heart of your empowerment, learning and inner strength. Treat yourself like your best friend, like someone you deeply appreciate and honor, like the most amazing person you’ve ever met and continue meeting daily for the rest of your life.
Reiki Tip: If you are attuned to Karuna Reiki® system, also known as Reiki of Compassion, use it for self-healing and healing others/sending healing energy to others in need. If you’re not attuned to it, you can work with Ascended Master Quan Yin, a symbol of compassion, love, and forgiveness. If you feel guided, send compassionate healing energies to Mother Earth also.
2. Innocence (Middle)
Are you ready to re-awaken your joyful and innocent younger self? This is the card of reconnection with an important wounded element of yourself – the child within. Here lies the root of many of your fears, insecurities and sabotaging life patterns. If you want to live fully your life as an adult and have a balanced emotional body, make that inner child part of the healing team. Invite him to join you on the healing journey. Give him attention and respect. Treat him as equal. Being a conscious adult hinges on acknowledging, accepting, and taking responsibility for loving and parenting your own inner child.
There is no reason to deny, neglect, abandon or reject this vital part of yours. Don’t “grow up” but “grow happier”! Reconnect with that inner state of innocence and purity and once again see the world with openness and wonder.
Without childhood innocence, it is impossible to step forward toward spiritual maturity.
Reiki Tip: This week focus on doing inner child work using Reiki. This is where true healing happens! As an example, you can connect with your inner child using the distance symbol and send Reiki for deep healing, helping him feel safe, protected, loved, appreciated, accepted, heard and seen.
3. Acceptance (Right)
When things are not going your way, what’s the first reaction? Are you living in acceptance in all areas of your life or do you find it rather difficult to let go and accept reality as it is? This card has only one message for you: the Path of Acceptance awaits you. Are you willing to say “Yes” to life and let things simply be? The Path of Resistance is no longer suitable for your level of awareness; it is time to cultivate emotional acceptance and reduce your inner resistance and impulse towards control. Suffering, pain, loss, and injustice are inevitable and one cannot reject those without rejection also its own happiness, joy, peace, and truth. Just like Reiki works, you’re invited to meet everyone where they are. Try not to judge, save, control them; there is only one thing for you to do – accept them and reality as it is. Your life would be so much easier. Acceptance frees you to use your energy wisely and regain the power of emotional wellbeing. When you accept what it is, greater calm and clarity comes in, allowing your creativity and awareness to use those circumstances to create uncountable blessings in disguise.
Reiki Tip: Just for Today, I will live in acceptance. Make this your daily affirmation and start observing your resistance and judgemental patterns. Once observed, accept these also as part of our human nature but choose to rise beyond their vibration and reunite the human with the spirit.
