The power of UNITY

Let’s welcome the energy of UNITY! By definition, unity is “the state of being united or joined as a whole.”

As we celebrate this day, let’s celebrate our light. Our light is what unites us.
When we connect with our light, we are able to spark the light in others and the result is contagious. Light after light, illuminating the darkness, until the darkness is diminished.

Our life force energy is our light and there is nothing that can take that from us. While this year has been challenging, it has also encouraged us to look inward and to make a deeper connection to our light. To glow even brighter and bigger than before.

There might be days where it seems impossible to ignite your light, and those are the times you need to lean into the light from others. It is a reminder that we glow brighter together.

When we look up at a night sky and marvel at the stars, we are taking in the beauty of many stars shining side by side united. But, sometimes the sky is cloudy and the stars are not as visible. It is on those nights, that we seek just one, one simple star in the sky, to remind us. And, if we look hard enough… it is there.

Placing our hands in gassho, reminds us of the unity of darkness and light… positive and negative… yin and yang. And, without the darkness, the light simply can’t shine.

How often I have thought of this visual when moving through the energy of this past year. When we unite light and dark, we can bring calm to stress, peace to anxiety, and love to fear.

We are all blessed to have this tool inside of us at all times.
Reiki is truly a gift that helps us navigate the darkest of days. It is our birthright. Connecting with Reiki reminds you of your connection to something much greater than yourself. And, this deeper, powerful knowing is the wisdom that we are all a part of a unified whole.

Unity is the key to connecting our energy and achieving something far greater than we could possibly achieve alone.

So, as we move through this day and further towards our goal of weaving a new world together, I believe that unity is the word we need to connect with most profoundly.

I have created a poem, or acronym of sorts, to remind you of the power of unity.
I hope each of you has a very blessed day, and as you exchange gifts and celebrate this day, remember to connect with your greatest gift… your light. And, imagine each of us doing the same. The visual of this unity is powerful.

Unbreakable spirit
Never cease to see your light
In the eyes of God
Together we shine bright
You are the star that shines in the night
