My friend’s son told her he wished he could hibernate and wake up after all this craziness had passed. Where would you rather be right now? In this moment?
Life can teach through lessons – as we have seen through some of the amazing books and techniques our times have seen, helping humanity as a whole move towards greater consciousness. Or life can teach through tests. Like this one.
Most of us have chosen one of two sides, as we do with most situations in life. We’re either sure that this is hype and none of this is really as bad as it seems, or we’re freaking out and terrified of the possibility of disease, death, and empty stores thanks to panic-buying. There is a balanced, middle way. If we let ourselves remain grounded and vulnerable, we can allow ourselves to be in touch with ground realities, feel the emotions that are coming up, and take action based on what makes the most sense in the present situation.
Here are a few Ideas & Practices WE CAN DO During the Pandemic
♥ Physically
Maximise your immune system by self-healing all the points in the morning and in the evening. If you use the chakra system, heal the front and the back chakra, they’re both important.
Reiki your food and water.
Sleep 8 hours a day if you can help it, sleep has a big impact on your immune system. Reiki your pillows before sleeping if you tend to have a disturbed sleep.
♥ Mentally, Spiritually
When you’re experiencing panic or fear, write about how you feel on a piece of paper. On the back side, write “This is all released and healed completely”, draw all the symbols that you’ve learned, and burn the paper.
But most of all, let us be present, mindful and aware. During crises, our shadow can rise to the surface and it is a wonderful opportunity to make big leaps of progress. Maybe fear of disease and death comes up, survival issues come up, anger comes up, maybe towards the authorities or people who don’t agree with our views, judgment and disgust comes up, especially towards ‘unconscious’ people. All of this is natural, and it is also a great opening, a wonderful opportunity to move past limiting behaviors which have held us back a long time.
What can we do to move past these emotional patterns? First, we view this episode as an opportunity to grow. Second, we deepen our awareness, witness and acknowledge exactly what we are feeling. Write about it and burn if too intense, and as it gets milder, simply awareness is enough to transmute these feelings. And lastly, we focus on finding a balance between surrender and action. Doing what needs to be done while at the same time being in total acceptance of what life – this moment – brings to the table.
♥ Globally
Many people I know are healing the globe for containment of the virus. You could also send healing for bringing calm and healing the panic in people’s hearts, for greater collective harmony in dealing with the challenge instead of turning against each other. Of course, the deeper we heal our own fears and issues in this regard, the more effective the healing can be, so the core message here is to ‘be the change’ and the energy will follow automatically.
What I’ve been requesting my group is to heal for spiritual growth, for people on the spiritual pathway to open up more powerfully and to use this opportunity to resolve and integrate their shadows, and more than anything else, for economic growth to be de-prioritized. This disease has done what nothing has been able to do for a long time – it has given people an opportunity to rest and connect with each other. And I pray that it opens many eyes to the value of things other than money-making.

Thank you for your post! Other positives… With numerous countries “sheltering in place” there are fewer; cars, planes, trains, etc. running… I’ve seen satellite reports online, showing pollution in areas both before and during this incident… With this event, pollution is significantly less and the earth is healing!\ Here, they are offering “free” health care and screening for those effected without insurance…\ For empaths, having 3-6 feet distance (and more if you are sheltering in place) provides much needed “personal space” and relief from those who don’t have any conception of what this aspect means… \ For Reiki practitioners, this event will help you to expand your distance healing possibilities, through; FaceTime/ Skype (or other online possibilities), the phone, or no contact at all. There are “no” limits to what Reiki can do, for both you and others!\ What is important during crises, continue focusing on the positives this event brings, which creates much needed healing and transformations… Change (and transformation) can either be; difficult, or easy… As the saying goes, “What you resist, persists.”. Surrendering to what is, will open and bring about inspiration and new possibilities… Just open and Be, and be thankful for the gift of Reiki… Namaste…
