Healing Separation Anxiety with Reiki

Greeting everyone !
Today would like to share about an important aspect that we all face in our life several times i.e “Separation Anxiety”.

Separation anxiety is a mild disorder that usually occurs at many stages of our life. It can be between any relations, like a child who has stayed with his parents since birth and then decides to go abroad for further studies or job, long distance relationship between lovers or spouse, ending up a relationship suddenly, breakups or divorce, etc. There are many examples of how we have to separate from our loved ones against our wishes, hence it creates feelings of anxiety.

When we face separation anxiety we start facing symptoms like overthinking, depression, trust issues or desperately waiting for other person to communicate, lack of sleep, fatigue, lethargic feeling, crying too much, not present in current moment, becoming too much active on social media and posting too many photos or posts to gain attention, etc. Hence it is necessary to heal this issue as soon as we notice few symptoms from the beginning as it starts showing up at mental and physical level and may induce us to cause self-harm or show other abnormal behavior which may be unaccepted socially.

Ways to heal yourself or the other person:

  1. Best and steady practice is the use of Usui Reiki fused with Wagle Reiki symbols (Han Seng Dor, Samye Meldru, and Katsel Chen) – This process is slow yet steady and has permanent benefits

    1. Ground and center yourself
    2. Invoke higher spiritual beings
    3. State the intention to heal your issue
    4. Make DKM in the air in front of you. Connect to the situation or person through HSZSN and visualize it standing on a bridge coming out of your heart extending outwards in front of you. Make CKR together on the left and right side of the bridge with coned fingers. Then Make SHK with your mind eye over yourself as well as the person or situation presented in front of you. Lastly make Han Seng Dor, Samye Meldru and Katsel Chen symbol over yourself and the situation/person.
    5. Send healing for a few minutes. You may be guided to do forgiveness affirmation or cord cutting or cry or journal your suppressed feelings during the session. Please do as guided.
    6. Then end the process with positive affirmations that you are released from everything that is no longer for your highest good.
    7. Request mother earth to transmute all the negative energies and heal herself with the same.
    8. Express gratitude and drink a glass of water.

This process, if done daily for 21 days will show lots of positive shift and you will experience a sense of joy and happiness within. You will be strong enough to accept and surrender.

  1. Other things one should do along with Reiki that can help in faster healing:-

    1. One hour intense physical activity at least 3 times a week is a must that can help release chemicals like endorphins which make one feel good and positive.
    2. Express your issues to someone you are close to and someone you trust. If you can’t then write on a paper and burn it. Keeping too many feelings to yourself will only lead to overthinking and stress.
    3. Take psychological help or counseling if needed.
    4. Pamper yourself, induce self-love and spend on yourself once in a while which can be going to a saloon or shopping or watching a movie ( Make sure one should do only in limits because this will give only short term pleasure).
    5. The moment you get disturbing thoughts or memories that make you sad immediately change your attention before you get drowned in plethora of unwanted emotions divert your mind and pursue your hobbies or do something you love like cooking, painting, playing musical instruments, etc.
    6. Talking and hugging trees, basking in the morning sun, feeling the breeze of fresh air, gardening or walking barefoot on grass is another way to ground yourself and be available at the present moment.
    7. Prepare a gratitude list of 5-10 things daily before sleeping
    8. Another effective way is the use of Bach which has helped many of our clients.

I am sure once you embrace Divine energies and surrender yourself in loving arms of God, it will only lead you to a blissful life that you deserve!
