Since I was a Child, even without consciously knowing the existence of Reiki, I used to send energy to my loved ones. Every time the energy flowed from my heart and throughout my heart, the energy reached the person. When I read the article “Where Do You Channel Your Reiki Energy from?” by Paula Vanderzon (which I recommend you to read) I remembered all my childhood “Distance Reiki”. In this article, she says “When I facilitate an energy healing session for a client now, I actually bring the energy straight from my heart space which itself is connected to all that is.”
After reading Paulas’s article I’ve tried to connect with Energy thorough my Heart chakra and it wasn’t as easy as when I was a child. So I kept trying while meditating about it. And then it came to me that attunements, that are focused on our Crown chakra, have to be done in our Heart and Root chakra too in order to establish a complete connection of the body with the source of energy.
So I added to the self-attunement protocol a few more steps to prove on me. While I was doing my self-attunement, at step 8 I began to feel that I could project the symbols from my heart and this felt so organic, so natural and satisfactory. Thus, I would like to share my process with you:
- Prepare the place
- Prepare yourself: Draw DKM on the ceiling and feel that the connection with energy descends. Draw CKR on the palate with the tongue. Draw in front CKR, HSZN, CKR
- Call in guides and teachers
- Visualize yourself or the person to tune in: Draw HSZN, call in the guides and teachers of the person. Align your chakras with the symbols HSZN, SHK, CKR and then the Fire Serpent symbol.
- Stand BEHIND the person.
Note: During tuning, visualize a white crystal in the Crown chakra and a blue crystal in the Third Eye that is filled with white light and illuminated with each symbol you enter.- Hands: Place the right palm in the Crown chakra and the left with the palm facing up.
- Symbols: From the Third Eye, project the DKM SHK HSZN CKR symbols towards the Crown chakra.
- Hands: Place both hands with the palm towards the Crown chakra.
- Symbols: project the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR from the Third Eye.
- Hands: Place the palms on the shoulders.
- Symbols: project the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR into the head (pituitary gland).
- Go to the FRONT of the person clockwise.
- Hands: Place the hands in the Third Eye forming a triangle with the index and thumb fingers of both hands and palms towards the person to be tuned.
- Symbols: project the DKM SHK HSZN CKR symbols towards the Crown.
- Walk clockwise towards Stand BEHIND the person to tune in.
Note: visualize in the Throat a celestial or cyan crystal that is illuminated with the energy that is spread from the Crown. I visualize in the Heart chakra a Green Crystal that is illuminated with the energy that comes from the Crown- Hands: Place the right hand on the forehead and the left hand on the neck.
- Symbols: project the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR.
- Hands: Place your hands on the shoulders with your palms facing up.
- Symbols: Project from the Third Eye to the Crown chakra the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR.
- Hands: I place the palms on the Heart chakra.
- Symbols: project the DKM SHK HSZN CKR symbols.
- Walk to the FRONT clockwise.
- Hands: With the hands in the Third Eye
- Symbols: project the DKM SHK HSZN CKR symbols towards the Heart chakra.
- Walk BACK to the person.
Note: I visualize a yellow crystal in Chakra 3, an orange crystal in Chakra 2 and a red crystal in the Root chakra. I visualize how they illuminate with the energy that comes from the Crown and passes through all the chakras.- Hands: Place the hands at the level of the heart on each side of the body with the palms facing down
Symbols: project the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR. - Hands: Place the hands at the height of the Root chakra on each side of the person with the palms facing up.
- Symbols: Project from the Third Eye the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR. I visualize how the red crystal of the Root chakra is illuminated with each symbol.
- Hands: I direct the palms of the hands towards the Root chakra.
- Symbols: Project from the Third Eye the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR.
- Hands: Place the hands at the level of the heart on each side of the body with the palms facing down
- Walk towards the FRONT of the person.
- Hands: With the hands in the third eye
- Symbols: project the DKM SHK HSZN CKR symbols towards the Root chakra.
- Walk BACK of the person
- Hands: Place them at the height of the Root chakra on each side of the person with the palms facing down.
- Symbols: Project from the Third Eye the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR. I visualize that energy descends to the earth and becomes root.
- Walk towards the FRONT of the person.
Draw the symbols DKM SHK HSZN CKR with the projection of the fingers. On the etheric body. Make 7 exhalations on the 7 Chakras with your hands accompanying the movement - Gently run your hands from the Crown to the floor, smoothing the aura.
- Thank the Guides and Teachers.

NGZD is which symbol?
Dear Sunetra, the NGZD symbol is the Fire Serpent symbol.
Thank you Sunetra for your question. NGZD is the Fire Serpent symbol (thank you Reiki Rays for your Reply). I’ve learned it as NINGISZIDA too.

I’m very interested and would like to try on this special attunement but I’m not really understand the steps Cleary.
Such like the hand position (5) – right on crown and left palm facing up?
Project the symbol to the palm?
Step 7 also not clear, I place my hand on my shoulder and protect the symbol to which part of the person to attune?
(13) – how to raise aura from the crown to the floor?
For my understanding raise means “going upward” but “crown to the floor” is “going downward”?
Hope you can provide a clearer guidelines so that I can try to do it correctly.

In step 5
Left palm should be facing up y let it at the side of the other palm.
Always project the symbol to the Chakra.
Step 7
The second position for the hand should be in the person’s shoulders
Where it says “Hands: Place your hands on YOUR shoulders with your palms facing up” it should say “Hands: Place your hands on THE shoulders with your palms facing up”
Project the symbols to the crown Chakra.
Step 13
Here I’ve misused the word ‘raise’.
I can describe it like “Gently run your hands from the crown to the floor smoothing the aura.”
I hope that you can understand better my description (English is not my native language).
This is based on the Attunement method I learned from my Master. If you feel you can do it with another method you are familiarized.
