Reiki brings bliss in life and keeps the body free of diseases; and unites self with the Supreme Soul. Reiki educates us how to invest love, time and energy on things that someone wants with long-lasting results. In awareness, beauty elevates that brings real joys. Being aware of your mind and aware of what is happening inside and around you is spirituality. The very nature of the soul is beauty and peace, in fact. Heart chakra comprises with all divine virtues (love, brotherhood, peace and harmony), which distinguishes us humans from animals. The six chakras are the six subtle sub-centres of psychic energy, as all of six centres are positioned in the Sushumna Nadi known as Hridya (central part) along the spine that remains dormant; and can be enlivened by aspirant through the practice of Reiki and yogic techniques with full devotion. Each of the energy centres has a precise shape, colour, and deity, monosyllabic and natural element. A Nadi is called a lotus which originates from the energy centre also known as its petals.
Let’s start with the Heart chakra (also called Anahata) which has twelve nerves and the element of nature is Vayu (Air). The Heart chakra is the fourth chakra and is positioned in the heart chakra within Sushumna Nadi which is connected to the spinal column. The Heart chakra corresponds to Mahar Loka, the chakra is green in colour, hexagonal in form, and radiates twelve nerves from cardiac plexus and its touch and sense organ is the skin. The Heart chakra has Banga Linga, Anahata sound is heard in this centre; after Sirs asana or in deep meditation aspirant can distinctly hear this sound and can also hear the Om sound. The presiding deity is Isha (Rudra) and Devta is kakini. The twelve important Nadis emanate appear as petals of a lotus and subtle vibrations that are created by each Nadi are symbolised by the Sanskrit letters i.e. kaṃ, khaṃ, gaṃ, ghaṃ, Ṅaṃ, caṃ, chhaṃ, jaṃ, jhaṃ, Ṅaṃ, taṃ and thaṃ; and yaṃ is the Bija mantra of the cardiac plexus. Each chakra has separate Yoga Nadis which encamps around the chakras vibrating with the particulars letters. If one gradually accumulates sufficient prana energy in the Heart chakra that enhances one’s prana energy that enters the middle Brahma Nadi in the Root chakra which aspirant can easily draw up to the Vishuddha chakra(also known as laryngeal plexus or Throat chakra).
The Heart chakra manifests cosmic love along with divine virtues and aspirant gets easily all divine virtues when they meditate focusing on this chakra with full devotion and put consistent energy in their practice Heart chakra also called the Anahata chakra is also known as the home of Reiki. The Heart chakra is situated in the Sushumna Nadi as it has control over the heart and is one of the most balancing chakras. It corresponds to the Cardiac Plexus in the physical body like being the small inbox (information regarding past and future being recorded) of the soul; whereas the Solar Plexus is known as the big inbox. So, both chakras are important and need to care every day by giving Reiki along with appropriate symbol and positive affirmation in order to breathe out all negative emotions and conditioned thoughts. In Reiki, the Heart chakra has its own importance as a bridge between the three lower chakras and three upper chakras. Chakras below the heart represent the materialistic life, whilst the ones above the heart represent the spiritual journey, so on the way, the aspirant sees himself in the heart of all beings and all beings in his heart. The Heart chakra encloses the five senses (taste, smell, hear, sight and touch) that must be balanced for advanced spiritual journey.
The lower three chakras representing the worldly affairs, that is why someone whose lower chakras are more active than the upper chakra can enjoy physical pleasures and want to stay here. They cannot be bothered with a spiritual journey. While, if someone who has upper chakras that are more active rather lower three chakras can enjoy spiritual activities. For example, a person who has peace of mind and is calm may even be religious but is not in a good financial situation, you will also find them more generous even with the little they have. The Heart chakra, therefore, enables one to keep both the upper and lower chakras balanced by being the link between them. The Solar Plexus, Heart chakra and Third Eye are the perfect energy centres from where one can easily tame the mind by meditating on them. The mind is always thinking of something within itself, repeating over the perceived things previously and dwelling upon what has conditioned and every moment the mind shifts from one object to another without any rest, something we all will have experienced or observed. True saints take advantage of this habit of the mind and replace the mind’s habit of repetition of objects with the holy mantra constantly, devotionally and attentively, which will stop the mind wandering and therefore over form, shape and thought.
When the Heart chakra is not working properly one will feel negative emotions and have negative thoughts, such as feelings of fear, rejecting ideas, holding deep sorrow, much bitterness, undigested ideas all of which are negative emotions. This show helplessness to love yourself and others that have squeezed the joy out of life. All of these negative aspects give birth to physical problems such as blocked arteries, back pain, blood infection, breasts infection, lungs and heart problems. The Heart chakra is the centre of love, peace, brotherhood, unconditional love and security.
