The Magic of Reiki Infused Art

Article by Justine Melton

Reiki can be combined with so many different things for both healing and enjoyment. One of the things that I like to combine it with the most is art. Reiki can be used to enhance Art Therapy or to enhance whatever piece of art you make for fun. Reiki is such a powerful force and adds an extra bit of magic and positivity to anything you combine it with.

There are so many different forms of art. I am going to touch on a few here but please know that you truly can combine Reiki with anything! There are no limits.

Ways to combine Reiki with different art forms

Painting: One of my hobbies is painting. I love to paint and truly appreciate what goes into creating beautiful pieces. To combine Reiki with painting you can beam Reiki to your paper or canvas before you begin your painting with the intention of whatever you would like to infuse it with. For example, if you are creating a painting for a friend who is going through a tough time you could say, I am happy that my painting is infused with Reiki energy and will bring my friend comfort, peace, strength and love.”

Music: If you are writing music you can beam Reiki to whatever you will be recording your music with or what you will be writing your music notes down on before you start. If you have a musical performance coming up you can send Reiki to it ahead of time. You simply used the distance symbol and then beam Reiki to the future performance for a few minutes. For the intention, you can say something like, I am happy that my music is bringing love and healing to all that hear it.”

The Magic of Reiki Infused Art
Dance: To combine Reiki with dance you may beam Reiki to your dance session before you start. Use the distance symbol and then beam Reiki to it for a few minutes. The intention could be, I am happy Reiki is allowing me to release all that is not serving me during my dance session,” or, I am happy that my dance is inspiring others and bringing peace and love to all.” There really are no limits here. Reiki can bring forth any energy you like to the situation.

Acting: To combine Reiki with acting perform a self-Reiki session before your acting class or performance. When you set the intention, say something like, I am happy that Reiki is helping my performance to bring healing and love to everyone that watches it.” Anything that you would like the audience to receive can be mentioned in the intention. Another intention that could work great here would be, “I am so happy that the energy of peace and joy radiate out of my performance.”

Writing: To me, novels, short stories, articles, and any type of writing is a form of art. If you would like people to be touched by a certain message with your writing state that in your intention. For example, you could say, “I am so happy Reiki is allowing people to gain courage from my piece of writing and to use it to overcome their fears.” Any message at all that you would like to get across can be used here. Also, you can make a Cho Ku Rei Symbol over your computer, tablet, or journal before you even begin writing to give it an extra touch of magic.

Jewelry Making: When you complete whatever piece of jewelry you are making you can infuse it with Reiki by simply holding it in the palm of your hand. Make a Cho Ku Rei over it and state whatever intention you like. For example, if you would like it to help bring people more self-love you could say, “I am happy Reiki is helping this bracelet bring the gift of self-love to whoever wears it.”  Then, beam Reiki to it for a few minutes.

There really are no limits when it comes to combing art and Reiki. Art has the ability to bring peace, love, and healing to many. When you infuse it with the amazing power of Reiki you are helping add more positivity to the Universe. How cool is that?! Give it a try and see how much extra light begins to radiate from your art.

My wife is a potter and has been adding Reiki to her clay for years. If someone sensitive is handling her pieces they will get tiny smiles and pass the piece from hand to hand. She has only had one or two people call her on it most people just like the way her art makes them feel!
